Alright, William thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Let’s start with a story that highlights an important way in which your brand diverges from the industry standard.

I try and keep things more home based so one could say I am more hands on with a lot of product. I like the fact that I am doing something like a garage business to one day expand into a single brick and mortar. And for product wise I love to keep things Texas based but also people based so it’s not always about chasing a trending topic or story to bounce of it’s always a lasting thing with me instead of seasonal.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

I am william of coal unity which was started in houston texas, I began the brand around 2016 from the reasons of being up set and not feeling heard by the out side world, so i felt that was one of the major things that stand out and will never die is art becasue art is a form of power and a way to comunicate without having to say a word and thats what i felt was the better way to handle things at the time. so it was like being silenced but finding a way to keep things put there and make sure people know how feel and what we stand for.

What’s been the best source of new clients for you?

pop up events and being in spaces thats not my main place to be at and learning new people and letting people see who i am and that i am willing to be out side and let people know who i am and what i do and why i do it.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?

I have been building this for the people and not just a brand that is trying to find a pop star to carry me into fame or a fast blow up i am working from the streets to art shows to car shows to hat and pin summits just by being an all around person just helps build the brand and letting different people decide if this is something that they are connected to.
