Alright, Kassaundra thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. We’d love to have you retell us the story behind how you came up with the idea for your business, I think our audience would really enjoy hearing the backstory.

Originally, I pursued the thrilling world of events because I was passionate about creating meaningful experiences that left guests feeling excited, celebrated and impressed. When I began my transition from restaurants to events, I had been in the hospitality industry for approximately 10 years (now for 15!!) and was ready to jump, knee deep, into a career filled with events. If you’re doing the math right now .. this timing wasn’t long before the start of the *p-word (pandemic hehe).
And lo and behold, in the midst of a world-wide event freeze, emerged Kefi Bliss Events + Creations. My passion for meaningful and exciting events was still at the heart of who I was but my drive began to shift. Kefi Bliss Events + Creations began as an online party shop, curating premium quality and trendy party supplies to be packed into Party Kits and delivered straight to your doorstep. KB Party Kits were designed to help create memorable experiences and to remind you of the value in celebrating life – in a time that events were non-existent.
As we grew out of this period, I realized my true desire is to find more ways to better support individuals and create exciting opportunities that allow you to truly celebrate the important milestones in your lives. Be it a birthday, a new job, a housewarming, a wedding, a baby shower or whichever special moment is significant to YOU. You should be present, celebrating, in these moments – not working them and not feeling they are a burden.
Thus, Kefi Bliss Events + Creations now offers a multi-tiered approach to party, event and wedding services. My goal is to foster an environment where having an Event Planner is not an elitist service but a resource that allows you to better experience and celebrate your life.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I was born and raised in the hospitality industry – learning dining etiquette, gracious hosting standards and quality guest experience before 6 years of age (btw, this boss was firm but empowering .. hi mom!) I have explored a variety of roles from catering and restaurants to golf courses and hostels but it was always my passion for cultivating memorable experiences that motivated me. And now, I’ve been fortunate enough to focus my career within hospitality operations & events for the last 5 years.
With an immense appetite for encouraging others to celebrate the small and large moments of life, Kefi Bliss Events + Creations emerged to build a brand for party lovers – alike. The KB community is fostered on a playful energy, which also cultivates experiences to #BeYourOwnGuest.
Each service is thoughtfully designed to provide a level of support that can be customized to suit budget, time and event size. Custom Party kits – reduce the amount of time one spends scouring the internet for quality tableware + decor. Virtual Party [& Event] Planning Packages – simplify a daunting to-do list to present a conceptualized theme and actionable steps that bring the vision to life. These packages can also include day-of set up, coordination and tear down for a fully encompassing resource. Wedding Coordination Packages – optimize the quality of the couple’s planning experience and take the responsibility of hosting off their shoulders so they can be more engaged in the big day!

How did you build your audience on social media?
Honestly, by just being myself, sharing my expertise and creative passions.
Building your audience on social media and building a brand is all about showing the world who you are and what you have to offer. It may be a cliche, but it is true!
When I first began my instagram business venture, I was simultaneously learning to embrace who I was as an event planner and defining my own personal brand. So .. looking back at how I built my audience on social media is a reflection of my growth and ownership of who I am (Shout out to the OGs who have watched our community grow with a shy faceless instagram to a quirky girlie-pop who shows UP as herself).
Focusing on trends is important; but, also ensuring they capture your unique brand is critical. Instagram has been my main platform and it is clear that I truly began to build an audience when I started to share my own thoughts, ideas and creative insight. Allowing my social media to be an extension of my business brand, while also sharing insight to my own personal life, created genuine connections that assisted in growing my audience.
Any thoughts, advice, or strategies you can share for fostering brand loyalty?
Event & wedding planners work with our clients during the most important phases of life and for their biggest days. Once this day is celebrated, it is not as common for the client to frequent back for planning services. *I say with a playful grin*
UNLESS. We promote an environment where having an event planner is actually an approachable resource that allows you to better experience and celebrate your life. I look to foster brand loyalty by encouraging our KB community to celebrate small and big moments of life, while also offering services that can support them to do so. I, gratefully, get to stay in touch with many clients from bachelorette to wedding, to baby shower, to birthdays for their children. And I do this by building genuine connections, being present in their lives and being a resource that presents a level of comfortability but also professionalism and flexibility.
Kefi Bliss Events + Creations offers quality products that are unique and trendy as well as thoughtful event services that are unwaveringly committed to encourage everyone to truly celebrate their lives. The majority of this day-to-day communication is via Instagram as it allows me to clearly communicate, but also demonstrate expertise, personal value and build mutual respect with clients.
Brand loyalty is fostered through sharing my mission to support and encourage my clients to celebrate life while also delivering consistent quality products & services that are adapted to their needs of each event.
