Ladarius, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today What do you think matters most in terms of achieving success?

I believe the first step forward would be confronting your fears. Taking the leap ahead in the direction you feel or know is necessary to ascend higher. In my case, I decided to leave my job and “weather the storm”. I bet on myself and invest in myself. knowing the path I take will be difficult at times , I’ve learned alongside confidence, discipline is key. When you hit a road block you figure things out then reroute.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

Film came about through my friends. As a musician also, visual work was needed. My circle possessed the skill set in which after a while I took notice and a liking to the field.

There were so many tools around me that I had access too. I required information through varies sources, mostly the internet. You can say I’m self taught. For years I studied and applied my new found skill to improve.

What I offer is video work ranging from film to music to tv. I feel Clients book with me because of how easy going and understanding of their vision I am. Being able to listen, give direction and nail what’s needed.

What else should we know about how you took your side hustle and scaled it up into what it is today?

I worked security for 10 years and during that time frame, I was growing my film company to what it is today. It started as a way to make extra income but developed into a career and main focus. People took notice of my growth and seen how far along I’ve come. That’s what attracted more business aside from doing amazing or effective work.

Where do you think you get most of your clients from?

The Best source for me is “word of mouth” . Just do an excellent job and word travels. Being recommended is one of the greatest feelings as an entrepreneur. Build your portfolio in the process of creating relationships.
