We were lucky to catch up with Nicolis Gerali recently and have shared our conversation below.
Nicolis, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?
To share moments in time with nature itself.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I wouldn’t say it’s a mission per say, but I found wildlife photography in a time where I was lost and confused on what to do next. Where I belonged in the world. I have a good buddy who spends his free time traveling to get great shots of different landscapes and animals. I was invited along on a few trips and the hook was sunk.
Not long after I got a used Nikon dlsr and accompanied him on his adventures, not much time had past and I bought my own Canon EOS R. There’s something so wonderful about quietly stalking and getting a rare glimpse of nature that everyone doesn’t get to appreciate. That’s where my “mission” really started.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
I find the most rewarding aspect is sharing something with others. Time and time again I show birds, alligators, dogs i’ve photographed to people and you see that little glimmer in their eye.

Do you think there is something that non-creatives might struggle to understand about your journey as a creative? Maybe you can shed some light?
Execution.
Execute, execute, execute.
There’s a lot of people who wish, or should have. Just do it. Photography is in the moment, if you don’t close that shutter the moments gone forever. You have to get out there and do it.
