Ramin, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. One deeply underappreciated facet of entrepreneurship is the kind of crazy stuff we have to deal with as business owners. Sometimes it’s crazy positive sometimes it’s crazy negative, but crazy experiences unite entrepreneurs regardless of industry. Can you share a crazy story with our readers?
One day, as I began my entrepreneurial journey in a humble coffee shop, I overheard a group of women in workout gear at a nearby table lamenting their struggles with getting their location verified on Google. Given my affiliation with Google as a Trusted Verifier, I approached the apparent leader of the group and offered my assistance with a simple motto: “Life’s too short to dwell on frustration. Let me help.” Curious, she asked what I could do, to which I assured her not to worry. Within minutes, I had their studio location up and running on Google Maps and Local. To cut a long story short, a week later their operations manager called to express gratitude. That coffee shop encounter was with Orangetheory Fitness, who would go on to become a powerhouse client for us for eight years. The lesson? Never underestimate the impact of extending a helping hand, even when it seems you have little to offer.

Any advice for managing a team?
In order to lead a team well and keep morale high, it’s important to focus on showing care,, providing support, and demonstrating leadership. Take an interest, in each team members well being support their development and set an example, with honesty and optimism. Encourage communication acknowledge their efforts and arrange team building activities to build connections. Stay adaptable and empathetic by offering help when necessary. By giving importance to these aspects you can establish a work atmosphere where team members feel appreciated, motivated and empowered to achieve success.
