Ed and Patrick, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?

When we set off to start Snaps Clothing, we were really just finding a way to fulfill our passions outside of corporate America, we didn’t quite know we would eventually be turning men’s fashion on its head.

Growing up in the south gave us an appreciation for live music, sports, and good times with friends – the foundation to what is now Snaps. While catching up over a few beers after work, we got to thinking. Why not start a business that we actually enjoy and one that represents our Texas heritage? After some brainstorming we examined our everyday lives and identified a problem we both faced daily, which went on to become the mission of Snaps Clothing.

We created a shirt that is transitional enough to take you from the office, to after work beers, and even to Saturday morning T-ball games. Snaps is built for the everyday man, all while modernizing the iconic pearl snap shirt – an ode to their Texas heritage and fit to the needs of America’s busy lives.

Today, Snaps Clothing can be found in seven different styles and dozens of different prints.

What’s been the best source of new clients for you?

Word of mouth. People love to share our stylish shirts and the ease of use factor to them. Word of mouth from our loyal customers has helped expand our reach into new demographics and customer base.

We’d really appreciate if you could talk to us about how you figured out the manufacturing process.

Through the development of Snaps Clothing we have learned to not cut corners with the way we manufacture our products. We are actually in Vietnam as we write this to check out our manufacturer, firsthand, and understand the process fully. Quality is of the utmost importance to our team and we hope that every Snaps shirt worn reflects that.
