We caught up with the brilliant and insightful KeAnte Smith a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
KeAnte, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today When did you first know you wanted to pursue a creative/artistic path professionally?
I just remember being a young child always watching tv and at an early age my grandma had me watching classics such as good times and ford and son and my love for the arts grew as I got Older just by seeing people of color on television

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I started off acting on a local television show called the reawakening and from there I just knew I wanted to keep taking it serious. The show caused me To have major popularity throughout my city and I capitalized and showed people I really do this.
I think what separates me from the best is that I’m just me ..I never give up I study I know what it takes and I stay in my lane . I have nothing but love and support for everyone but I’m just one of one and just want showcase my talents to the world my GOD given talent
I’m proud that I’ve built so much buzz and momentum just off my talents and the youth the community and so many people see me for the artist I’m trying to be

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
I think the most rewarding aspect is when some one has watched your film and they tell you how good or how much your role impacted their lives ..I do it for the passion and love number one. Knowing i inspired other artists and my peers just off my talents.
Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
I’m only 23 and I’ve done so many projects but it have not come with blood sweat and tears. I work so hard and I feel like the more I elevate the more I dealt with depression pressure hate envy and everyday I just got up continued to be the genuine loving hard working actor and man I know .
