We were lucky to catch up with Kloe Evans recently and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Kloe thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Let’s jump to the end – what do you want to be remembered for?
I would say that I would like my legacy to be one that glorifies God in the most humbling way. I want to leave this earth completely empty, and when I say empty, I would like to have done everything that God has called me to do,
Leaving nothing undone. It actually took me a minute to process this question and really think about all things that I still would like to accomplish. Founding Kuts For Christ was the start of something that will one day outlive me. Knowing that you are doing something that can bring change to someone’s internal and external being, that could help increase faith, hope, and purpose is the “Why” behind KFC. Even though we have been established over 6 years, I am still a student learning and growing as time changes right before our eyes. To hear “Well done, my good and faithful servant” is the ultimate reward!!

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your background and context?
Kuts For Christ began in March of 2016 as a God-given vision. While serving in the children’s ministry, I received a revelation to organize Kuts for Christ. The vision was precise, cuts would be spelled with a “K” and the letters in KUTS would have their own meaning – Keeping Up The Salvation for Christ. When people ask, “why haircuts”? The answer is simple: I have always possessed a passion for positively impacting others’ self-esteem through beauty and barbering services.
Kuts for Christ (KfC) exists to solve identity dilemmas for individuals struggling with their outer appearance due to hardship or unwanted circumstances. KfC offers haircuts and beauty services with the option to receive prayer through outreach projects. The ultimate goal is to create a happier exterior with a loveable interior. The prayers will help seal the confidence that was restored during the haircutting/beauty service provided.
The primary target population for Kuts for Christ is the homeless and disadvantaged population in the Greater Houston area which includes the following counties: Harris, Fort Bend, Jefferson, and Galveston counties. KfC also serves foster care organizations and residential group homes for underprivileged youth.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
As far as building an audience on social media, it’s all starts with a strategy and finding your target audience. I will say it took some time to get in the groove of things, but once we found our niche, we were able to grow our social media presence at a rapid speed. By all means we are still learning and growing, but I would say, creating a plan and being consistent is a major key. Having great content, themes and graphics will defiantly help with engagement.

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
I believe that old fashion trust and consistency helped build our reputation within our market. There is a saying that says, “Nobody cares how much you know, until they know how much you care”. I stand firmly with that because actions speak louder than words. We strive to make sure our relationships are genuine and valuable to those that we service and partner along side. We have great partnerships with organizations, churches, entities, business, and individuals that can reference our services.
