Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Chris Mills. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi Chris, thanks for joining us today. What did your parents do right and how has that impacted you in your life and career?

What my parents did right was instilled core values and a strong foundation from an early age. I was born and raised in Kingston Jamaica to devout Christian parents. From early on I knew church and faith was very important and that was the main foundation growing up. There were other things that were instilled as well, core values. Be a man of your word, be kind to people, stand up for yourself when needed, make sure to do the right things.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

My name is Chris Mills and I go by the alias or alter ego (LOL) DJ Chris Milly or Chris Milly. Becoming a DJ happened by accident if I may say or maybe it was supposed to happen the way it did. I was at a friend of mine at the time’s house, he had his DJ equipment setup and I was curious how it worked. He said he would have showed me but I had to have my own music, after that the rest is history.

What I am proud of is the strides I have made to get to where I am now and being more confident in what I am doing and delivering a great experience to my audience. If you decide to book Chris Milly for an event you will never be disappointed.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?

The most rewarding thing for me being in this role and realm is seeing the joy people get from me playing music. They are appreciative of the musical journey they get taken on.

Any resources you can share with us that might be helpful to other creatives?

I wish I knew how to use social media in a way to have the content more appealing to viewers.
