We recently connected with Chloe’ Francis and have shared our conversation below.
Chloe’ , appreciate you joining us today. What do you think it takes to be successful?
I believe to be successful you have to make sure you’re doing something you love to do. You have to be willing to do what other people aren’t willing to do. It’s going to take faith, wisdom, discipline, and consistency. Start getting up early in the morning. You can’t get much done by waking up everyday at 12 noon as we only have 24 hours in the day. Get up and make your bed because I was once told, “No matter what kind of day you’re having you’ll always be able to come home to a made up bed”. Set the tone for the day (do what brings you peace) and create positive vibes! Never focus on what you should have done and put your focus on what you can do better. Just because your friends are around you getting the things y’all talked about before you, it doesn’t mean it’s not going to happen for you… it’s just not your time yet. Don’t give up on your goals and dreams just STAY FOCUSED you’re next!
Chloe’ , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I don’t believe in working a 9 to 5 all of our lives. As a entrepreneur, my goal is to show others the way. I truly believe God is allowing me to tap in for a greater purpose. I am in ministry, a designer, stylist, brand ambassador and the list goes on. Something that sets me apart is that I have experience in management, banking, retail, and many other skill sets. Each experience has shown me how to run a successful business. With optimism, I know that what I am creating is generational wealth for others along the way.
Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
I had to unlearn the fact that I was taught to be independent, which played a small roll in the fact that I felt the need to do everything on my own. Being an entrepreneur I realize more each day that we all need help some type of help. It doesn’t have to be financially it can simply be needing advice or having a question about something. It is so important to know with having a business your going to need help. So, if your like me and have that mindset please change it because you won’t get far. It takes a village to have a successful businesses.
For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
The most rewarding aspect of being an artist or creative is to do something you have passion for and get the chance to broadcast your vision to the world in a unique way. No two people are alike we are all different. Your creative skills may be similar to the ones around you ,but not the same. We all have our personal stories to tell and have the freedom to do so.
