We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Chad Pulido. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Chad below.
Alright, Chad thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. What were some of the most unexpected problems you’ve faced in your business and how did you resolve those issues?
Many people say money is the root of all evil. This is very true! I was the first person to trademark the name “the lash lift” I got the ig and business name before anyone else even knew what this was, fast forward and this was the name of a new up and coming treatment that blew up! With this became a lot of client and alot of training which was great! But the more money I made the more I began to feel like I was spiraling outside of work’. From alcohol, drugs and shopping addictions my life was going up and down at the same time and i couldn’t grasp that mentally, I thought I was doing amazing! All I wanted to was the name brand clothes and shoes and had to drive the nicest car until one day it came to a crash. Literally I was in an awful crash on the way to a fashion show my car was in flames and I was trying to pull my brand new balenciaga bag (which i had gotten the day before) from the passenger side a I couldn’t do it and I knew I was minutes away from The car blowing, so I had to exit just as I fell to the floor my car blew and I was laying in glass. I thought I was the victim but I got blamed and went to jail with 100k bail. I thought I could stick it out but let’s just say the people there and I didn’t click so I bailed myself out and all the money I had was gone in a blink of an eye. Talk about HUMBLING.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
My name is Chad pulido and I have always loved art, fashion and beauty! I knew I was always destined to be someone and I’ve always known myself to be a trendsetter definitely not a follower, not that there is anything wrong with that’ I was just made to start ideas. I’m an Aquarius, we are eccentric. I’m a master train in the original keratin lash lift and brow lamination and also do permanent make up. We offer services, trained and product distribution. What sets me apart from those who followed my foot steps is the products are actually keratin based and not the cheap crap from China that you get from Amazon. Also I’m not an uptight b*tch I’m down to earth and very personable which I fine that my clients enjoy being around.
I started from ground 0 and enjoy helping those in that same position, i didn’t have daddy’s money (nothing to ring with that) but I truly hustled my a*s off. I enjoy seeing that in others and I enjoy helping those along their journey and with me you will never have to worry about being left In the dust. The ongoing support is always there.

Any thoughts, advice, or strategies you can share for fostering brand loyalty?
Instagram is a huge way that I keep in touch with clients and to be honest many of my good clients have actually become some of my closest friends to the point that we even sleep at each others house occasionally.

Can you tell us the story behind how you met your business partner?
In the beginning of my business I was on the hunt for a space to work from and I as looking on craigslist in 2016 and saw I huge salon on rodeo drive that had space and I went to meet with the owner and at first I felt discouraged because she had mentioned she wanted an all girl salon. I told her to just give me a chance, she agreed and I was the busiest person in the salon and to this day we are the closest of friends.
