We were lucky to catch up with LaTange Baker recently and have shared our conversation below.
LaTange , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. What’s the backstory behind how you came up with the idea for your business?
I started out in 2019 making color and chemical free body scrubz just for my family to help with excema and dry skin. As time went on I gave them for gifts and let my friends test them out.
Then everyone stated I should sell the body scrubz. I didn’t think people would buy but to my surprise I have great testimonials and reviews.
I received numerous request to start making Shea butter moisturizer. So I did and it has been a big hit!
Over the years I have tested out new productz. As of today I create and sell 7 different items.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I am LaTange the Creator and Mixologist of JustScrubz. Making productz is my “Calm”. I reside in and love Atlanta, GA.
I create handmade Body scrubz, SheaButtaz, BodyAndLinenSprayz, BearrdButta, HanginScentz, Crown Hair Mist, SheaButta Soapz and Foaming Saltz.
I think what sets us apart is that we are All Natural Productz. No Colors and No Chemicalz. Our productz help with cracked skin, dry patches and excema.
I am thankful for all my customers that love my product. So happy for the testimonials and reviews. I am truly blessed to have reached so many customers that I have helped heal their skin issues.
What’s been the best source of new clients for you?
My Customers!!! They tell the story for me. The testimonials of how my product helped them. Brings joy to my soul.
How did you build your audience on social media?
I am still building my social media audience. I had a great following and then I was hacked about 2 years ago. So I had to start over again. Big Shout to my customers for sharing my page or telling someone about JustScrubz.
