We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Tiffany Phillips a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Tiffany, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. How did you come up with the idea for your business?

I truly believe The Lord gives us gifts and calls us to use them to help others. Each of us have unique talents, and the power to serve others with them. The road to Simply Tiff’s has been just that; it is a culmination of education and family needs, and now we have the distinct honor of providing our customers with products to naturally heal and maintain their health.

Our journey began in 2014 when I stepped away from a successful ten year career in the medical device and supplies field to focus on my health and family. This was a difficult transition, as my passion to serve others was still longing to find its place in my new role at home.

After hearing a friend of mine discussing her problems with eczema and acne, I just knew this was absolutely something I could help her with, as I had already been fiercely combing through studies and information finding ways to help my daughter who was born with a dairy and soy protein allergy. My background and love of science, research, and biochemistry. Throughout continuous reading and research, a fiery passion was ignited to develop all-natural products to help not only my family, but others with skincare, health, and wellness.

The Lord provided a way to utilize my degree in Biochemistry and scientific knowledge of healthy living, and desire to help others, while also staying home and caring for my little one. Thus, the Simply Tiff’s brand was born! The line continues to grow daily based on input and requests from customers, family, and friends. Having struggled with illness and other issues most of my life, I knew there had to be a more natural way to approach my health, using medication only when necessary, and it has been my utmost joy and privilege to create products to allow people to treat themselves naturally.

I pour my light and love into every product I make. Simply Tiff’s products are all handmade in small batches with natural, pure ingredients, insuring the finest quality product. Furthermore, all skincare and salves are formulated with therapeutic-grade essential oils for their healing, nourishing, and cleansing properties.

Tiffany, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

Simply Tiff’s is more than just a business, it’s truly a mission to naturally heal and maintain the health of our families using the most raw/natural resources found. I am a science junkie and a Biochemist so naturally, my passion was initially ignited when my daughter was born with allergies and I was unable to find trusted products with clean ingredients. At the same time, many of my friends and family were also experiencing acne and other dermatological conditions and searching for healthier more effective products. I knew The Lord had put me in this position with these circumstances for a reason and had given me the knowledge and skills needed to take on this challenge and thus Simply Tiff’s was created.

It’s truly a privilege to see first hand the healing both physically and mentally these products can accomplish and knowing I had a small part in their journey is such a blessing. The Simply Tiff’s line is all handmade in small batches with natural, pure ingredients to ensure the finest quality product.

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?

As an entrepreneur, I started my journey with a heart to see others healed and thriving. I don’t know that I really ever focused on building a reputation, I have always focused on doing good works for the glory of God with the talents He has so generously blessed me with. I suppose that my integrity, work ethic, and commitment to excellence would be the foundation of building my reputation.

Building a respected reputation means I consistently go above and beyond for my clients, provide valuable resources and information, and of course the highest quality products with proven results. This has led to positive word-of-mouth and loyal clients.

My business has grown because of the reputation I have gained in the community I serve. I am known for my honesty, knowledge, professionalism, and unwavering dedication to my clients. It is truly humbling each time I see positive reviews and speak to loyal clients.

Any fun sales or marketing stories?

I absolutely love getting product in my clients hands because I absolutely love what I do, and am confident that when they use the product they will find the results they’re looking for.

One particular story that always makes me chuckle a bit is when I was set up at a market. I had a gentleman come to my booth, and he was very congested, and had been that way for quite some time. He was adamant he had tried everything available and nothing would help. So, I offered him a sample of some sinus salve. I told him I thought his sinuses would almost immediately start to release and drain upon application, but that he could walk around the market and should feel some relief, but if he didn’t, then there was no need to purchase the salve. I also offered him a few tissues, as I was pretty certain his nose would start running fairly quickly. He politely declined, only to walk out of my booth and walk right back to grab those tissues for his runny nose.

It was the best feeling seeing the relief and shock on the gentleman’s face . Such a wonderful feeling to help someone who has lost hope and is suffering.
