Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Elizabeth Hatfield. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Elizabeth , thanks for joining us today. Are you happier as a business owner? Do you sometimes think about what it would be like to just have a regular job?
I love owning my own business. I started it in order to stay home and raise my little ones. It has been a wonderful and crazy decision, I had a regular job for roughly 6 years. Sometimes I miss the conversations with other adults, however my personal business has grown to the point where it now offers those conversations to not only people that I see as customers but as friends.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I started my business of printing, designing and creating a variety of homemade items to hopefully allow me the opportunity to stay home with my little ones. My business has really taken off with offering customized shirts, tumblers, signs, and decals. I think it is so cool to be a part of whatever my customers have come up with in their head and then being able to put it on whatever form of media they desire. one thing that has grown my business tremendously is traveling around on weekends to local craft shows, fairs, and even car shows, it is amazing how many people you meet and the friendships that blossom from these conversations and interactions. Another thing that i feel has really helped is not being afraid, when we were first approached about doing some bulk orders for schools, events or even getting into some local businesses, I won’t lie I was hesitant but with my husband encouraging me and stepping up to help where needed, taking those large orders were not only doable but amazing at the end.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
I have worked hard to build up my customer base for my business. This past year we have really hit some huge milestones and we could not be more grateful for what we have accomplished. We have found it so beneficial to have social media to help us reach so many people from all over the country. One of the biggest growth factors we have found is just being present and relatable on social media, posting consistently, interacting with customers and being a part of their lives for a few minutes a day. I have also found that posting finished projects helps attract new customers and spark ideas, but also showing the day to day life behind the t-shirt or coffee cup allows people to know that when you buy from a small business it is also an investment in their lives.
We’d love to hear the story of how you turned a side-hustle into a something much bigger.
