The path of entrepreneurship is often solitary and challenging. Despite its occasional allure, the reality is a journey filled with long stretches of solitude and uncertainty. Success requires unwavering dedication, meticulous attention to detail, and unshakeable self-belief. Endurance is key; repeatedly facing setbacks and adapting without immediate results is a skill that must be honed. Moreover, action is paramount. While everyone harbors great ideas, success comes from proactive execution rather than idle contemplation. Waiting for the perfect moment is futile; perfectionism is the enemy of progress in the world of entrepreneurship. Bracha, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

For the past decade, I’ve served as a family nurse practitioner, initially in the fast-paced environment of an emergency room. However, my journey took a turn when I recognized a crucial need for improved healthcare services. Witnessing patients enduring lengthy waits in ERs for basic IV hydration and assessments prompted me to envision a more efficient solution.

This vision led to the founding of IVDRIPS, a venture aimed at providing swift, high-quality care in the comfort of patients’ homes. By dispatching skilled nurses under medical supervision, we revolutionized the delivery of essential medical services. Over time, our scope expanded, evolving into a comprehensive concierge medicine practice focused on empowering individuals to prioritize and enhance their health.

At the heart of our mission is a commitment to personalized care and ongoing support. We believe that everyone deserves to not only look and feel their best but also to be actively engaged in their well-being. This ethos drives us to go above and beyond for our patients, treating them not just as clients but as valued members of our extended family.

For me, caring isn’t just a profession; it’s a calling. Staying connected with our patients and providing thorough follow-up care are fundamental aspects of our approach. We take pride in going the extra mile because, ultimately, our patients’ health and happiness are our top priorities.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.

Growing up, I faced academic challenges that required twice the effort to excel. Understanding concepts took multiple readings, and I was often the last to complete assignments despite striving for excellence. However, this upbringing instilled in me a valuable lesson: success demands relentless perseverance. I learned that achieving an A grade meant doubling my study hours and embracing failure as a stepping stone to growth. This mindset transitioned seamlessly into entrepreneurship, where rejection and setbacks are inevitable. Viewing failure as a natural facet of progress empowered me to persist despite countless obstacles. I realized that intelligence wasn’t the defining factor; rather, it was the unwavering determination to keep trying that fueled my journey.

Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?

We’re always adapting and evolving. Growth means being open to change and constantly pivoting. When the pandemic hit, we saw a shift in community needs beyond our usual offerings. People wanted COVID tests and monoclonal infusions, services we hadn’t initially planned for. As a business owner, it’s my responsibility to recognize these needs and pivot accordingly. In a short span, we expanded our services to meet these demands, ultimately helping thousands of patients receive treatment at home and stay healthy.

Over our seven years in business, we’ve learned that constant pivoting is essential. From the products we offer to staff training and our policies, everything evolves to keep pace with a changing world. There’s no definitive right answer in business or life. We learn as we go, continuously growing and adapting. Challenges are our greatest teachers, and we embrace them daily, refining our processes until the end. There’s no easy ride or quick fix—life is a journey of constant learning and improvement, both in business and beyond.
