Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Eileen Wenger. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Eileen, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?
My mission is to empower women to love themselves fiercely just as they are. When I got into photography I started doing families and small weddings but I knew deep down that I wanted to do something more, something that made a difference. I shot my first boudoir session in 2020 and I instantly knew this was it. Each woman who walked into the studio was nervous and unsure but when they left the shoot they were completely different. They had an air of self-confidence that almost overpowered the room. It was contagious and beautiful and totally wild how one photoshoot could transform their outlook on themselves. I fell in love with helping other women fall in love with themselves.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
My name is Eileen Wenger and I am 32 years old. I was born and raised in Lancaster County. I’ll never say no to coffee, tattoos, or thrift shopping! I am a natural light boudoir photographer. I empower women to love themselves fiercely just as they are by capturing their natural beauty. What sets me apart from other boudoir photographers is my style. I prefer light, airy, and subtly sexy images as opposed to the traditional dark and moody. I want my potential clients to know that I am crazy passionate about making sure each one of them feels confident in their skin. To do that I send out my custom boudoir session style guide with all the information my clients need to feel prepared for their session. It has all the details they need from lingerie suggestions, hair and makeup recommendations, frequently asked questions, and other tips to help make them feel as comfortable as possible. I serve light refreshments at each session and we always have on their favorite playlist. I am available to answer any questions they might have and I promise to be the biggest hype girl before, during, and after the shoot! I’m very proud of this small business I’ve built, It’s been 5 years this year and I can’t wait to celebrate!
Where do you think you get most of your clients from?
Referrals! It always means so much when I receive a new client from a past client raving about their experience with me!
What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
Seeing women fall in love with themselves while being able to fulfill my creative soul with the art of photography
