Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Delisa Abraham. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Delisa, appreciate you joining us today. Do you manage your own social media?
When Faith and Sparkle’s World started I hired a company to help us. Once that relationship ran it’s course, I hired a small business to manage our social media. Currently, I have a team.
I initially made the choice to hire a company because I knew nothing about marketing, social media, lead generation. I paid a significant amount of money but the ROI was not met. When I hired the smaller company, it allowed to to learn about marketing, social media, lead generation and sales because I was involved. I learnt and gain understanding on strategies, tactics, techniques and what our customers need while remaining authentic. Due to this learning curve, it allowed me to hire people that best align with our values, mission and vision while producing outstanding work that attracts our ideal clients and create impact.
My advice to new entrepreneurs is to have a budget, marketing costs alot. Understand social media, you don’t have a be an expert, figure out your ideal client and be clear on your mission and who you serve. Once you’ve followed those steps, you’ll meet your aligned person or business that can support your growth and scaling.

Delisa, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
My name is Delisa Abraham and I’m an empowered leadership coach, mentor, speaker and co-founder at Faith and Sparkle’s World.
Faith and Sparkle’s World is a family business and my daughter Faith Abraham is the founder. She’s an award-winning author and her children’s books recieved best children’s book 2023.
I work with entrepreneurs and executives to enrich, empower and inspire them to lead their team, their home and their lives with heart and to thrive in an climate.
I’m proud that as a family business we support multiple generations, my daughter as an author and empowerment speaker and myself as a leadship coach and speaker. Together, we’re transforming the lives of children to live heart-centered purposeful lives and cultivating leadership skills that positively impacts generations.

Have you ever had to pivot?
When Faith and Sparkle’s World started my daughter Faith was the founder and I manged the business as CEO.
I quickly realized that selling her books would not support the business to become self sustainable. In the second year, our workshop and mentorship programs started and after I took an accelerator business program and learnt about the financial ecosystem, the business expanded to include me as co-founder as an empowered leadership coach, mentor and speaker- my expertise, experience and training fit perfectly for our expansion and growth.
Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
There are many situations where situations are not ideal. My experience and expertise positioned me to think critically, assess everything circumstances, seek guidance when needed and to never make rash or rushed decisions.
Due to this, in the appearance of failure I always succeed.
My advice is to shift and strengthen your mindset to benefit and support you in good and bad times.
