Yvana , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Was there a moment in your career that meaningfully altered your trajectory? If so, we’d love to hear the backstory.
My journey into the Wellness & Spa field began long before I consulted with my first nutrition client. Or before I ever had given anyone a facial. It partially begin high school then exploded in college. Once I moved to Italy to study communications. I learned over the course of many months thats America approached health and wellness in a totally different way. All throughout Europe they valued healthy food and minimal processing. They prioritized free time and leisure. Growing up in southern California everything was about money, success and who go there the fastest. These things were never prioritized here . Like anyone who was looking to learn and experience a new culture I soaked up everything I could. I went to Hamman spa in Morocco, I went to bath houses in Hungry, I went to wineries with luxury spas in Italy. This was the beginning of what i didn’t know at the time, was my life’s work and pure passion.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?
Throughout this journey of chasing my passions, I had three different businesses all in the field of beauty and wellness. My first was a Skin Care line Called Ancient Esthetics. My goal with this brand was to highlight that many of the beauty practices today were created and used thousands of years ago. Many of these beauty practices were considered rituals for those highest up in society such as elites and aristocrats. These beauty rituals were organic and true to the form, from which the came in nature. I wanted to make luxury organic skincare that was accessible to everyone. This included organic imported shea butter from Ghana, Organic Rose water spray toner and lastly a jojoba herbal serum. My launch was successful and i sold many products i had support from many. Then I realized that i needed more training in herbal medicine, and nutrition to help my brand evolve into a whole wellness brand. I enrolled into I a Holistic Health coach Program where I would earn four credentials in a one year program. This program would help me to become a holistic wellness expert. I finished the program and it did indeed expand my knowledge of wellness. I became a Certified Holistic Nutritionist, Wellness Coach, Holistic Health Coach and by finishing this program I became eligible to apply to become a board certified Holistic health Practitioner. After completing this I did a full pivot in my career and choose to pursue a career in Esthetics and become a licensed skincare professional. I decided instead making skincare I was going to create full holistic spa wellness experiences.
If you could go back in time, do you think you would have chosen a different profession or specialty?
If i could go back in time I would choose the exact same career and process I choose to get here. Because I am able to help people achieve wellness & beauty goals. Which helps women to radiant confidence inside and out.
