We recently connected with Danny Hale and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Danny, thanks for joining us today. We’d love to hear about when you first realized that you wanted to pursue a creative path professionally.
In April 2019, After suffering from an adjustment disorder caused by a flood in our home months prior, I found myself not sleeping for days at a time, I was very anxious and felt broken… So in my darkest moments, I would go to a nearby beach to watch the sunrise, I remember the day vividly when I saw the sun coming over the horizon, For those minutes I realized what it meant to be present, not worrying about the past events or the future. I knew there and then that I had to get into nature more often and photograph it. Three years later I am in three galleries, selling my work often and producing videos to help calm others…

Danny, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I am a Hawaii-based photographer specializing in seascapes, sunrises, and sunsets. I find being creative helps me relax and helps me slow down and stay in the present. My work can be found in galleries and on my website. My relaxing videos are free to watch on Facebook Instagram and YouTube.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
