Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Miraló Moon. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Miraló, thanks for joining us today. We’d love to hear about when you first realized that you wanted to pursue a creative path professionally.
Growing up we didn’t have the luxury of cable nor was my family very musical or artistic. It was a world that was unknown and something i figured you were born in or brought up in. My family got cable for the first time when i was 12 years old. As curious that I am I ventured off going through the many channels cable tv brings. It was a crazy world couldn’t believe All the programming. I wanted to learn and grasp everything because I admired the work and the emotions behind the feeling i felt when I would see movies or TV shows. Well at least the ones we were allowed to watch. One day I woke up early morning I was 12 years old and I put on the MTV music videos. I found out that MTV would play early morning jams, video after music video. So one morning I woke up and turned it on and there it was. Alicia Keys belting out “if I ain’t got you” I was inspired and had never felt such great anguish, emotion and feelings that touched my soul. I immediately knew that I needed and wanted to exude that. It was my mission from that day on to express my self in a way that I can bring, joy, love, laughter and every emotion in between and I knew and know I am capable of sharing these feelings with the world so that they can feel what I felt that very day.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I auditioned after auditions after auditions and counting, one day someone took noticed and signed me. I was later dropped but was able to release a song titled “Reborn” after trying times in my life with the recent passing of my grandma at the time and a dying relationship of 9 Years I had picked up where I once left and became reborn and my song was born. I was in

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
Having correct Mexican representation in the media. When I hear that peso pluma was the first Mexican to Perform at the MTV music video awards last year it makes me sad to think he’s the only one and really highlights the necessity. I wanna make that number double, triple and continuous growth to showcase us. So many awards that are ready to be won by a Mexican so many times I hear the first spanish language album to achieve such or the first latino do to such when I think that it should be more because I know we are out there it drives me to get noticed and to this for us minorities

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
Everyday it’s a struggle. Going to work, pouring the demos I do, being contracted, being a brand Ambassador, working for company after company. Having to be somewhere 9 to 5. I’ve been able to be sane and resilient doing things that are not for me. Trying everything in my power to achieve my dreams. Being able to get up and make other companies money. Sometimes I’m working and they have performes and I think I’m at the wrong spot I should be on stage. But it gives me more drive because I know I will be on a bigger stage soon. Also being signed and dropped only had me get up taller and stronger to make better music and show my emotional talent to everyone so they can feel. The world is lacking emotional stability. Or scared to feel, I want to show them it’s ok, ur allowed to feel and I know you can feel deep emotions through me, my being and my songs
