We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Dizzle JA a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Dizzle , thanks for joining us today. Can you talk to us about how you learned to do what you do?

In any endeavors you have to put work in it , it takes time to master any craft, It’s the same thing with music, I myself had to go through the learning process and the steps of not only recording music but putting it out for the world to enjoy .

Dizzle , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

Born Bertony Reynolds from St.Thomas Jamaica am a Reggae/ Dancehall artist/ CEO of La-Fam Entertainment JA and La-Fam Clothing go by the name Dizzle JA The love for performing arts, Music ,fashion , promotion and event planning has been growing on me from the days of High School
I first started to write music in my books as i could not help it , I was leaving my High school and going to the studio watching great musicians recording, mix ,mastering and making beats.
All that influences me to want to take this thing seriously as fell in love with the craft.
I then started to plan events because I knew a lot of folks in the industry from being around them and networking.
I started booking acts such as Dj’s , musicians and even the venues to host my events.
I took it seriously because I wanted to give my patrons something spectacular each time knowing in the back of my head am making a platform for my music as I would be performing on most of my events.
A lot of creatives had a platform from me whenever I stage an event or getting ready to drop a product or project.
My company La-Fam Entertainment JA has provides booking services for Artists, producers ,Dancers , Dj’s , Videographers , graphic designers etc .
We have a in house team for music production , you won’t have to run around if you’re working on a project, we provide services from the ground up.
In house production and promotions on a high level.
At the moment I am proud to provide so much talents with a platform that have been traveling and making a living off their craft .
Am more proud of myself as my career been on a high as I been charting in different countries each time I drop a project.

How can we best help foster a strong, supportive environment for artists and creatives?

I think if we all go directly to the source most creators will have a better chance of making a living off their art .

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?

The most rewarding aspect of being a artist/ creative is working on a project 💯 and seeing the results, the way it has been received form people all over the world, places you never been before knowing your work as a impact on those people life , just checking the status on seeing this is a blessing that keeps me going harder.
