Hi Eflattheexecutive, thanks for joining us today. Learning the craft is often a unique journey from every creative – we’d love to hear about your journey and if knowing what you know now, you would have done anything differently to speed up the learning process.

My journey has been a blend of passion, entrepreneurship, and a deep love for music. In 2019, I became one of the owners of Zen Studios which provided me with valuable insights and experience in the music industry. That taught me a great deal and fueled my desire to dive even deeper into the creative process.

I’ve been a musician since the age of six. I remember begging my mom to put me in piano lessons for months and she finally gifted me my first keyboard and put me in lessons on my sixth birthday. Over time I picked up more instruments playing multiple instruments and even made started gigging as a teenager, but as much as I loved musicianship, Id always admired production. In 2020, I decided to embrace fl studios, it was a natural progression for me – a fusion of my musical roots and the executive mindset cultivated during my time at Zen Studios.

Learning the craft wasn’t always smooth; I embraced trial and error, experimenting with different sounds and techniques. What truly accelerated my growth was surrounding myself with a network of talented peers. I observed and learned from their experiences, which significantly shaped my approach to music and sculpting my own sound.

That is why “Edify” my debut single is not just a song to me; it’s a meaningful collaboration that represents a coming together of diverse talents and a shared vision. Arkh Zeus, Shandelle, T Clipse, and I, each bring a unique flavor to the track, creating a sonic tapestry that transcends yet promotes their individuality.

The collaborative process was inspiring. We shared ideas, pushed boundaries, and truly elevated each other’s contributions. ‘Edify’ is not just a musical piece; it’s a testament to the strength of collaboration and the magic that can happen when artists unite for a common purpose.

Releasing ‘Edify’ as my first single was a deliberate and in my opinion the best choice. It reflects not only my journey as a producer but also serves as a platform to showcase the incredible talents of my collaborators. The track carries a message of elevation, growth, and unity, embodying the ethos that we, as artists, strive to convey through our work.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

I initially entered the scene through a group of friends who were artists, and together, we established a studio. My role expanded organically into production, and from there, I found myself wearing many hats in the creative process.

I’m not just a producer; I’m also an executive producer, A&R, graphic designer, set designer, live show engineer, and a business strategist. What sets me apart is the delicate balance I strike between grand ambition and realistic expectations, that a litany of skills and resources/networks. I approach each project with a touch of delusion of grandeur, aiming for the extraordinary, but grounded in the realism of what can be achieved within budget/time constraints always resulting in a memorable experience.

My versatility allows me to create projects consistently above industry standards but more importantly projects that feels cohesive and full. Whether I’m coordinating an event, executive producing a project, I firmly believe in the power of creativity, confidence, discipline, and communication to bring any project to completion.

I take immense pride in my growth throughout my journey. Recently, I made a shift from the executive side of things to focus more on music, and the results have been incredibly rewarding. I can confidently say that I don’t miss. This transition reflects my deep connection with music and the fulfillment I find in every creative endeavor.
I am dedicated to pushing artistic boundaries, ensuring every project is not just a product but an experience. I approach each venture with passion and purpose, aiming to leave a lasting impact. What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?

The most rewarding aspect of what I do is witnessing the tangible impact of my creations. It’s an incredible feeling to see the fruits of your labor come to life and resonate with others. Whether it’s fellow creators finding inspiration, fans connecting with the music, or clients experiencing the vision we’ve crafted together, it’s a profound joy to share a piece of my soul with someone.

Music, for me, is a deeply personal expression, and when I see it evoke emotions, spark creativity, or simply bring joy to others, it validates the essence of why I create. The ability to touch the lives of people, to share a part of myself through art, is what makes every endeavor worthwhile. It’s a connection that goes beyond words, and I cherish those moments where the intangible becomes a shared experience, uniting us through the language of music.

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?

My mission is honestly to create the best art I possibly can, regardless of the medium. I see creativity as a boundless journey, and my goal is to consistently push the boundaries of what’s possible, leaving a lasting imprint through my work.

Beyond personal achievement, I aim to elevate my peers and anyone else who finds inspiration in what I do. I believe in the power of collaboration and shared success. As I grow, I want to grow with and uplift those around me, fostering a community where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
