Alright, Shrondann thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?

As the founder of Pathways 2 MPowerment, I started this nonprofit organization because I witnessed first-hand the struggles that newly released individuals face upon reentering society after incarceration. I saw the immense challenges they encountered in finding stable housing, employment, and support systems to help them rebuild their lives.

These individuals often face stigma, limited resources, and a lack of opportunities, which can lead to a cycle of recidivism.

I believe that everyone deserves a second chance and the opportunity to create a better future for themselves. I wanted to create an organization that could provide comprehensive support to individuals during their reintegration journey, addressing not only their immediate needs but also empowering them with the skills, education, and resources needed to break free from the cycle of adversity.

Through Pathways 2 MPowerment, I aim to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals who have been incarcerated, helping them overcome the barriers they face and providing them with the tools to transform their lives. I am passionate about creating a society that is compassionate, inclusive, and supportive of individuals who are seeking to rebuild their lives after incarceration. Not only do we have programs to reintegrate individuals back into society, but we also have programs like MPowering Change, which focuses on Mental health as well as Entreprenurial ship and MPowering Minds, which is our Vocational & Educational program.

By starting this nonprofit, I hope to inspire others to join me in this mission, to create a world where everyone has the opportunity to thrive and contribute to their communities. Together, we can make a difference and empower individuals to create lasting change in their lives and communities.

As the founder of Pathways 2 MPowerment, I want to dedicate my life to making a positive impact in the lives of individuals who have been incarcerated and those facing poverty. My passion to create a more compassionate and inclusive society is evident in the comprehensive programs and support services offered by Pathways 2 MPowerment.

Besides my family, friends and Pathways 2 MPowerment, I am most proud of my unwavering commitment to empathy and compassion. I believe in the power of understanding and supporting others, regardless of their past or current circumstances. My ability to see the potential in individuals and provide them with the tools and resources they need to succeed is a testament of my unwavering dedication and belief in the power of transformation.

Through my work, I have witnessed countless individuals overcome adversity. This is what I am most proud of – the tangible impact I’ve made in the lives of those around me. My commitment to empowering others and creating lasting change is a true testament to my character and the legacy I am building.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.

Throughout my life, I have faced numerous obstacles and challenges that have tested my resilience. From a young age, I learned the importance of perseverance and determination in overcoming adversity. Whether it was financial struggles, personal setbacks, or societal barriers, I have always found a way to rise above and keep moving forward.

These obstacles have only fueled my determination to create positive change and make a difference in the lives of others. I have learned to view challenges as opportunities for growth and transformation, using them as steppingstones towards achieving my goals.

My resilience has been shaped by the belief that no matter how difficult the circumstances may be, there is always a way to overcome them. I have developed a strong sense of resilience through, my unwavering determination to believe in myself, and my ability to adapt and learn from every experience.

I am proud of the resilience I have cultivated throughout my life. It has allowed me to navigate through the toughest of times, to keep pushing forward when faced with setbacks, and to never lose sight of my goals. I am grateful for the strength and resilience that has carried me through life’s challenges and has enabled me to make a positive impact in the lives of others.

Have you ever had to pivot?

A pivotal moment in my life, is when I made the courageous decision to leave behind my successful corporate/government contracting career and embark on a new path. Driven by a deep desire to make a meaningful impact in the lives of others, I took the leap to organized and launched Pathways 2 MPowerment.

However, this decision was not made lightly, as it meant leaving behind the comfort and security of stable income and a career. Nevertheless, I’ve always known in my heart that my true calling was and is to help others achieve their goals and dreams. So therefore, I stepped out on faith to create an organization that provides individuals with the support, resources, and opportunities they needed to overcome adversity and thrive.

Launching Pathways 2 MPowerment was a bold step towards fulfilling my purpose and making a lasting difference in the world and creating a legacy that others can follow. My decision was rooted in passion, empathy, and a deep belief in the potential of every individual transformation.

Since that pivotal moment, I have dedicated myself wholeheartedly to building Pathways 2 MPowerment into a beacon of hope and empowerment. This journey has reinforced my conviction that by MPowering others, we can create a ripple effect creating new Pathways for positive change that extends far beyond individual imagination.

Leaving behind my career and launching Pathways 2 MPowerment was a defining moment in my life. It was a testament to my unwavering commitment to making a difference and my belief in the power of compassion, empathy, and MPowerment. I am proud of the path I have chosen and excited for the future as we continue to uplift and MPower individuals to achieve their goals and dreams.
