We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Samuel Curto a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Alright, Samuel thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?

Hi! I’m Sam Curto co-owner of Willow Tree Creations. I found my passion for videography in Highschool and knew I wanted to build a career out of it. I initially thought I was going to be a YouTuber but I realized that life just didn’t fit me. After I graduated I explored music videos, buisness promotional content but what really appealed to me was weddings. I feel in love with capturing couples biggest day together and being able to share my couples stories with the world is something I am truly passionate about. I met my fiancè about 3 years ago and eventually our shared passion for photography and videography led us to eventually rebrand our buisness into Willow Tree Creations. Our goal is to be a one-stop-shop for your dream photo+Video team making it easy to serve our couples together!

Samuel, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

I specialize in wedding videography. I personally like to describe what I do as capturing a couples wedding day and giving them just the special moments. Anything from mom helping bride in the dress to dad walking her down the aisle, through the party that is the reception. I’m there from start to finish to narrate their wedding day!

Do you have any insights you can share related to maintaining high team morale?

Pay people well. Be fair with others and they will work hard for you. I always call my associates when I know they’re on the way to another wedding just to make sure they are ready to go!

How’d you meet your business partner?

I met my fiancè on Facebook dating. Our first date was at chipotle and we hit it off! We both had a shared interest in photography from the get go and the rest is history!
