We recently connected with Eleonora Rancati and have shared our conversation below.
Eleonora, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Coming up with the idea is so exciting, but then comes the hard part – executing. Too often the media ignores the execution part and goes from idea to success, skipping over the nitty, gritty details of executing in the early days. We think that’s a disservice both to the entrepreneurs who built something amazing as well as the public who isn’t getting a realistic picture of what it takes to succeed. So, we’d really appreciate if you could open up about your execution story – how did you go from idea to execution?
Hi I’m Eleonora (Nora for English speakers)I’m an Italian Manager in the music business, A&R and marketing project strategist based in Milan, Italy.
I was born and raised in Milan, Italy, and relocated to Boston, Massachusetts in 2017 to pursue a degree in Music Business Management at Berklee College of Music🎶. My passion for this field deepened significantly during my time at Berklee. I had the privilege of collaborating with exceptionally dedicated and talented individuals, working alongside accomplished managers and producers, and honing the essential skills required in the music industry.
My fervor for both music and the dynamic landscape of internet culture has been a consistent and influential force in my life, stemming from my educational journey at Berklee and continuing through the establishment of my own enterprise. I take pride in my keen ear for music, keen eye for talent, and my proficiency in project management and development. This combination allowed me to seamlessly bridge the creative and business aspects of the industry, encompassing expertise in management, project incubation, marketing, distribution, and proficiency in various social media platforms (such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok) and music streaming services (including Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal, Deezer).
I began working in the Law and Management Legal department at Berklee. Later initiated collaborations with noteworthy individuals and organizations, including Victoria Verba, Professor Christiane karam, Promoter and Pr expert Umberto Labozzetta, and companies like Clonefluence Inc., Periskop, and Elsafra II S.p.A.
These partnerships allowed me to optimize project strategies, streamline administrative processes, business plan creation, excel in digital marketing, refine playlist pitching, craft brand identities, and create websites. I proudly serve as the owner of NLH Records, a newly established record label, taking the role of A&R and General Manager.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
I’ve always been passionate about sharing experiences with friends and co-workers, and I find fascinating the way people interact online. I like to think of social media as a channel, almost like a shorter version of a Blog with pictures and videos to describe better the experience. A successful post for me has very few words but impactful.
Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
I have a motto in my life: Copy, Paste, and make it better. Whatever seems to be successful should be always used as a reference for something new. The big challenge is taking that information and translating it into something even more effective. Be creative, and passionate about what you are doing. Experience will always give you more than a name!
