Alright, Daquan thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. The first dollar you earn is always exciting – it’s like the start of a new chapter and so we’d love to hear about the first time you sold or generated revenue from your creative work?
I remember i was maybe like 13. i sold this dude a beat from like alaska for $20. He mailed me a $20 bill. My mother cursed me out so bad lol but thay day on i knew like i can make money from music is crazy.

Hey, My Name Bake I Am A DJ & Mulit platinum producer. I Started djing like 8th grade but i didnt start taking it serious till maybe 16. thats when i started to make actually money from it snd building my name. i always had a talent for computers and music though. i used to burn cds and make ring tones in elementary school. I use to record songs in middle school also. I Always was that go to person. I think im very different from other djs and producer cause my style and swagg i put into me and my talents. Everybody can dj snd play a song but can they play it like me? Im must proud of the fan base i built for myself . im a household name in Nj!
Is there mission driving your creative journey?
Yes , I Want to get rich off doing something i love. Like to wake up and just do something i want to do and get paid ? Hell Yeah
Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
I actually built my audience from networking at college. before college i have never really been out my city . so yeah i had followers from like around the area but that was regular. once i went to college it was over . my followers was growing crazy
