We recently connected with Phasion and have shared our conversation below.
Phasion, appreciate you joining us today. So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?
Throughout the years I’ve met so many women both in person and through social media who needed that extra boost of confidence and someone who they can relate to. My mission over the 8+ years of being an entrepreneur was always to help women and to let them know they are worth it, strong and are able to do anything if they put their mind to it and create a system that works.

Phasion, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
For those who don’t know me I am a serial entrepreneur. I am a retired makeup artist and now a full time content creator and influencer. I create videos for women to teach them self love, mindful spending, feminine hygiene & how to look and feel their best from the inside out. I also started a series specifically for single mothers to get out and live their best lives as a mom. As a single mom I know how sometimes us mommies can get inside of our own heads and have that “mommy guilt” when it’s time to do for ourselves but I’m here to encourage them that it’s all about time management and working on YOU. Because we have to take care of ourselves first in order to take care of our children.
I am passionate in the content I create because I want women to have a safe space to be themselves, learn, get new ideas, vent and most importantly have fun.

Is there mission driving your creative journey?
My goal that’s driving and keeps me going throughout my creative journey is being a household name that teenage girls and women can come to, to find answers that perhaps they feel embarrassed to share with friends and family. I want to be there to encourage and make a difference in women lives that have no support around them. That’s what keeps me fueled. Reading comments & messages that how I inspired them means the world to me. And I feel if I just stop I’ll be letting a lot of women down so I can’t stop.
What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
I had to unlearn that it’s ok to be creative and do things untraditionally. All my life I’ve been told to go to school, go to college, get married have a child and be happy. I did all those things and it’s like look I am now a single mother, I had to pay off over $34k in student loan debt and never used my degree. I wish I had someone to tell me to simply follow my dreams and create. But when I unlearned those things I became a beast… in a good way lol. Now as a mother I don’t limit my son on what he can do. I’m not that mother that says “You should be a doctor, you should be a lawyer” I’m that mother that says “Baby, if you love art be an artist, if you love the camera take your YouTube serious (Kingstakeovertv).” I’m that mom that will never limit my child and will always be opened to hear all of his creative ideas.
