We were lucky to catch up with AnGala Portorreal recently and have shared our conversation below.

AnGala, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Let’s talk about innovation. What’s the most innovative thing you’ve done in your career?

I created a couple of therapeutic card games to help couples in a crisis or who are struggling to communicate in their relationship. I developed these games to assist couples in reconnecting when silence has penetrated the communication.

AnGala Portorreal is a native of Dallas Texas currently residing in Charlotte, NC. AnGala is a part time fashion blogger, relationship podcaster, certified television show producer and has recently become a flight attendant with a legacy airline AND one of Charlotte’s newest televised Talk Show Host!

AnGala started her journey as a relationship enthusiast with the now defunct Charlotte In crowd as a columnist writing bi-weekly articles that focused on relationship woes. in 2019, DivaSpeaks Relationships Podcast kicked off with tremendous success and feedback from across the globe.

The journey has continued with the success of DivaSpeaks Radio show airing on Stationhead Radio and DivaSpeaks Relationship Podcast, continuing to gain momentum, the launch of DivaSpeaks Relationship Television Show airing on Access21 ( local television station out of Charlotte), Spectrum Cable, AT&T U-Verse, Video on Demand, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV and TDS TV. In addition, DivaSpeaks Relationships Ministry has successfully landed and completed contracts on The NOW Television Network, Satellite TV, and multiple cable networks.

In September of 2021, DivaSpeaks Relationships officially launched its very own channel on Roku TV, followed up with the launching of the DivaSpeaks Relationships channel on Amazon Fire TV in February of 2022.

Last but not least, AnGala has partnered with a local Charlotte firm to help with the development and promotion of her relationship/ dating games. The invention is patent pending currently, debuting on the national trade show circuit and is listed as the first invention featured in the InventHelp 2022 catalog. Relationship Therapy and Surviving Infidelity Therapeutic Card games are featured on Amazon, EBay ,Etsy, in addition to online shops accessible on Facebook, Instagram and Tik Tok.

How did you build your audience on social media?

i have organically built my audience across all social media platforms by paying attention to what my audience is responding to and what makes them engage the most. I have remained true to my brand the I have never deviated from the my niche. My audience knows what to expect from my platform when they visit or follow.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?

My consistency in sticking to my niche and venturing into all aspects of what impacts your relationships has helped my reputation tremendously. Relationships is my business and thats what my audience understands and appreciates.
