Hi WILLIAM, thanks for joining us today. So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?

I have worked for Security Alarm Companies for years as a top producing technician. Because of this I was never allowed to move up into management even after achieving my MBA from Strayer University. When you’re a good technician they try to keep you in the field, so I decided to get my Low Voltage Electrical License then started my own company. The rest is history!!!

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

After achieving my Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering in 1998 I started working Security Alarm Companies in Houston TX. Later in 1999 I started working with ADT Security until 2015 doing small commercial and residential systems before moving on to Stanley Security as a full Commercial Security Alarm Integrator. My work ethics has always been above and beyond striking the attention of others in the industry and customers. Until this day I am still the same person while others ask me how can I still be the same person at this age and asking questions like when do I sleep. I have always thought to be the best you have to work for the love and not the money and never stop educating yourself. This is what separates you from others in your craft.

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?

When I was fired for wanting to work in management by someone of the same culture which was my first time being fired in my life. That did it for me I said to myself this will never happen again.

Have you ever had to pivot?

Becoming successful brings on jealous by your peers. You have to be able to overcome this and keep your head strong because negativity is always around.
