Alright, Faith thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Any thoughts about whether to ask friends and family to support your business. What’s okay in your view?

My friends and family have been very supportive of my business from the start. They have given lots of advice and help when I need it. I’m the kind of person who doesn’t like asking for help, but they are always there when I do. Everyone has done so much for me and I appreciate everything. I wouldn’t have gotten by business started and growing without them.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

My name is Faith Krakowski. I have always loved taking photos and decide to start my own photography business while in college. There are so many special memories in life that we want to last forever. I am so grateful to have the opportunity to capture these moments, and allow people to cherish them for a lifetime. That’s one of the things I love most about being a photographer. I am focusing on portraits and weddings, but also enjoy taking landscapes. I got my business license in September of 2022, and have a website and social media pages. I really enjoy looking back at my old photos and comparing them to my work now, to see how much I’ve improved over time.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?

I started my social media pages by making accounts for my business that are separate from my personal ones. Some of the ways I’ve been building an audience is posting often and interacting with other photography accounts. I have found that the more active you are on social media, the more your work gets shared.

What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?

I have multiple sources set up for clients to reach me. Some people don’t have as many social media accounts, but they have the option to reach out by email or phone too. This way a larger audience can reach me in whichever way is convenient for them. I currently have facebook, instagram, tiktok, my website with a contact form and my phone number listed.
