Mark , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Naming anything – including a business – is so hard. Right? What’s the story behind how you came up with the name of your brand?

The story behind trap ninja collectibles is a story of my childhood, my cousins and I growing up especially in the 90’s every kid wanted to be a ninja. My cousins and I made our own clan and having ninja training every time we see each other. I incorporated Trap in the name because it’s where I do business and having a hustlers mind set. I feel that anybody can relate to trap ninja collectibles by having a hustlers mentality by trying and owning your own business and just following your dreams.

Mark , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

I started by collecting collectibles, toys, and figures in the early 90’s. Then for me keeping most of my childhood collectibles I decided to sale to people that enjoys the nostalgia feeling. Trap ninja collectibles provides the nostalgia feeling you had once as a kid by selling vintage and modern collectibles you grew up with and giving the best service I can by doing so. I am most proud of my accomplishments by doing pop up events around local city’s and just putting my brand name out there and connecting with the people,and connecting with the toy community, also proud of providing dope and fire collectibles that other collectors would appreciate. Although it’s nice earning profit for reselling but I would like to let my people/ followers know that I do this for the love and the appreciation for the culture.

What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?

Social Media and marketplace like Instagram, Mercari, and WhatNot

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?

Connecting and networking with honest and genuine people who has been in the game much longer and who are also respectable professionals. They have paved the way like myself who is a newcomer and has shown me that I can enjoy my passion but also, make a business out of it as well. Surrounding myself with the right people has given me the positive reputation from other entrepreneurs and clients.
