Moses, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?
Our mission at FitSquad is driven by the passion to support and empower wellness and fitness professionals in their journey to build successful and thriving businesses. With over 20 years of experience in the industry, we have witnessed the struggles and challenges that small business owners in this field face, particularly in terms of financial constraints and lack of resources.
We understand the importance of consistency in reaching and maintaining a target market, and the difficulties that arise when trying to achieve this without the necessary support and tools. Therefore, we have made it our goal to set new standards by providing a co-working space for professionals to access essential resources and support that will allow them to focus on what they do best – guiding others towards improved health and wellbeing.
Our offerings include training and meeting spaces, operating systems with electronic billing, social media marketing, networking opportunities, and small business development training courses. By addressing fundamental aspects such as customer service and business operations, we aim to equip our co-working members with the knowledge and tools required to effectively manage and grow their businesses.
Ultimately, our mission is to enable fitness and wellness professionals to flourish and make a positive impact in their communities, by providing the necessary infrastructure and support to help them realize their full potential.

Are there any books, videos or other content that you feel have meaningfully impacted your thinking?
In my journey as a wellness and fitness professional, I have found two books to be particularly instrumental in helping me build my business and assist other professionals. “13 Fatal Errors that Managers Make and How to Avoid Them” by W. Steven Brown has provided valuable insight into the common mistakes that managers often make, and how to steer clear of them. This book has taught me to approach business decisions logically and to be mindful of the financial implications of my choices.
On the other hand, “The Secret” by Rhonda Byrne has had a profound impact on my mental and spiritual well-being. This book has emphasized the power of positive thinking and the importance of self-awareness. It has also encouraged me to develop good habits and maintain a positive mindset in both my personal life and my professional endeavors.
By combining the wisdom from these two books, I have gained a comprehensive understanding of how to effectively run my business while also cultivating a strong sense of self-awareness and positivity. As a result, I have been able to enhance not only my own well-being but also that of my clients and colleagues. These books have been invaluable resources in shaping my approach to business and personal development, and I am grateful for the knowledge and guidance they have provided.
Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
In my experience, the most effective strategy for growing my clientele has been building consistency. This means setting a schedule and sticking to it, providing great services, and creating a welcoming environment for my clients. Having a consistent schedule means that my clients can rely on me to be available when they need me, and this reliability builds trust and confidence in my services. Additionally, by sticking to a schedule, I am able to manage my time effectively and ensure that I am able to meet the needs of my clients.
Another important aspect of building consistency is providing great services. This means going above and beyond for my clients, always striving to exceed their expectations. By consistently delivering high-quality services, I am able to build a loyal client base who trust in my abilities and are likely to refer my services to others.
So, creating a welcoming environment for my clients is crucial for building consistency and growing my clientele. When clients feel comfortable and at ease, they are more likely to return and recommend my services to others. This is why I always strive to create a positive and inviting atmosphere in my space.
While building consistency in my schedule, services, and environment has been the most effective strategy for growing my clientele. By setting a schedule and sticking to it, providing great services, and creating a welcoming environment, I have been able to build confidence and trust in my clients, leading to a growing and loyal client base.
