We were lucky to catch up with Alfio Lora recently and have shared our conversation below.
Alfio, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. How did you scale up? What were the strategies, tactics, meaningful moments, twists/turns, obstacles, mistakes along the way? We’d love to hear the backstory the illustrates how you grew your brand.
I have heard a phrase once long time ago that says: “Be careful of what you do , because there is always people watching you !!”. I have always applied this . I believe first of all , since I do love photography, I do it with love and passion, and when I meet with a client, this feeling transmits. I always go the extra mile, and do my best to accommodate my client’s needs. I always give my client the best value for their investment in my services. I have not done massive marketing campaigns, all of my business has come from referrals , and I realize that treating my client good and fair is what has cause the growth in my business. Also , it is super important to be a great photographer and deliver a great product, and I feel blessed that I am able to do that as well.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I specialize in various niches in photography , but my main specialty is architectural and interior photography, I provide service to professionals in the real estate industry. I also specialize in corporate portrait photography so that becomes of value for those real estate professionals as well, since they need this type of photography for themselves. Is no secret that in today’s competitive world, when it comes to photography, using high end professional photos is a must . In the real estate industry, the stats are there and they cannot be argued, a listing’s probability of attracting more buyers and selling faster will go up tremendously when is posted with professional images.
The type of service I offer goes beyond simply photos, I do offer aerial (drone) imagery and videography as well, also such specialized services such as floor plans of properties. Nowadays when it comes to promoting a real estate listing , many times , realtors and brokers need to go beyond simply photos .
I have come to the realization of these needs, thus making sure I become a “one stop shop” to my clients to make sure I can solve their issues the best way possible.
I am getting started in the area of yacht photography and trying to build my yacht brokers clientele. I have had the great opportunity of providing my services to quite a few brokers, but I really enjoy this type of photography and hope to get to grow extensively soon.

I believe that we all have to adapt to a constantly changing world in order to “stay in the game”, I personally invest in the digital assets world with crypto. NFTs are , in my opinion , an asset that could developed into something very big and valuable in the near future.
What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
Very simple, becoming the best I can become in my chosen field. Having a client feel totally satisfied and in awe when they received the final product is one of the best feelings and what drives me to move forward in my creative journey.
