Isaura Carolina , appreciate you joining us today. Risking taking is a huge part of most people’s story but too often society overlooks those risks and only focuses on where you are today. Can you talk to us about a risk you’ve taken – it could be a big risk or a small one – but walk us through the backstory.
I’ve always has had in interest in pastries and felt that baking a cake to a family member or friend is showing love. In receiving great appreciation and motivation to start my own business, but due to the circumstances back home (Venezuela) it felt impossible to accomplish. One evening after seven years that I had arrive here in the USA, my sister and I was enjoying a piece a cake, it was then when we encouraged each other to take the risk of what is now BLOSSOM MOBILE SNACKS LLC. From that moment and on, it has turned into a fun adventure for both of us as intrapreneurs.
Not having experience in MN foods law, pricing, marketing and so many other requirements gave us a quick reality check. Even though we encountered lots of obstacles, thanks to close friends and family we were able to overcome them and continue our journey. This became a roller coaster for us, having to decide on a name that had a real meaning of what we wanted to show. Choosing a new concept to introduce into the food and dessert and market and, above all, defining the menu because we wanted it to be different and innovative and also include the love from our roots of our country and where we reside. This by far has been the “craziest” risk but most definitely fun to be part of.

Blossom Mobile Snacks is a business that offers food catering, desserts, drinks for parties and events with a different alternative, presenting a menu in mobile carts for guests to have a fun experience in the selection of their snacks.
We strive to offer the best service to our customers with the opportunity to choose a menu according to their celebration or event, which will be served in the snack carts. we can also combine with the theme and decoration of it. Amongst our products you will find: Mexican-style fruits, esquites (corn in a cup), nachos, waffles, hot dogs, mini pancakes, cake shots, aguas frescas, etc. Blossom mobile Snacks LLC offer cakes and gelatin for birthday’s, wedding and any other special occasions.
We would love to continue growing as a business and be able to bring our idea of catering meals and desserts to more customers and be part of a special moment in the life of each one of them.
What’s been the best source of new clients for you?
Really working with social networks for us at the beginning was a challenge, it was not the same to place a family photo to show than to offer the products of your new business. At first it worked for us to take samples of our product to our friends and co-workers, as well as to share small videos of how we make the snacks and cakes. Definitely, social networks have been a great help for our venture, we continue to learn about marketing and advertising every day and reaching to a more abroad audience.
What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
The best way to build a good reputation is open communication. Making sure we understand our customers and guide them in their selection of goods, offering alternatives in order to meet their needs and budget. Maintaining high quality standards for each event, maintain a consistent quality of goods and presentation. Having a good reputation, we make sure that the customer is satisfied and will be a returning client.
