Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to T.I.D KÀI. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
T.I.D, appreciate you joining us today. Learning the craft is often a unique journey from every creative – we’d love to hear about your journey and if knowing what you know now, you would have done anything differently to speed up the learning process.
It took alot of time, effort, curiosity and most importantly patience to get to the level I’m at in my profession. I have always searched of new methods on how I could grow as a musician and also as a producer, Curiosity always got the best of me and that helped me alot in my journey, Yes, sometimes it was not easy but I had my family’s situation backing me up and also as a motivation. Even now, I am always working and always willing to help others in need in my profession.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
My name is Wandile Khomo, I was introduced to the music industry when I was 14 years old and since then I have always been doing it. I was introduced by my older who is Sandile Khomo and eho goes by the name TayLitty, I am a versatile musician but I really enjoy doing Trap, Trapsoul, RnB and also pop genre music. I also do choreography and also music production such mixing and mastering, acting is also part of my capabilities and the majority of people calls me the jack of all trades. I am guy who has true ambitions and who truly determined about his goals, I truly believe that life has a way to reward good deeds, sometimes when you’re helping someone you often helping yourself.
We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
It only takes one video to go viral, it takes one song to make it. The crazy part is that you’ll never know so that’s why you must be persistent and be goal driven at all times. I’m always posting content of 2what people want to see and enjoy, anything that will entertain them within my workplace. Always be patient and be persistent, when the time is right, you’ll make it.
Are there any resources you wish you knew about earlier in your creative journey?
Yes and they are a few, I wish I knew to be independent at an earlier age because most people are not there to support or help you, but they are there to gain something from you then leave you behind. That really damaged me in terms of growing and reaching my desired goals and dreams.
