We were lucky to catch up with Ronnita Huff recently and have shared our conversation below.

Alright, Ronnita thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Alright, so you had your idea and then what happened? Can you walk us through the story of how you went from just an idea to executing on the idea

The first it was my husband and I decided to move our family to Houston Texas. My husband and I knew that there would be more opportunities for us and our kids in a big city with nothing but opportunity only thing is we came without a plan we did not have a place to live we did not have anything in place but a job for my husband I was coming from a full clientele with my own salon back in Cleveland Ohio he was coming from his dream job remodeling million dollar homes and we both left it because we knew there was a bigger vision we just did not know what. We just had faith.

Fast forward I advertise a Marketing my business until I built a huge clientele going from zero clients to over 300 clients in less than a year. Two years later God told me that he wanted me to become a life-changing hairstylist meaning no longer being the trendy hairstylist he had bigger plans for me and although I did not understand it at the time once I understood that is when the healthy hair care plans came in place. I got with my marketing team Amm marketing Came up with the idea we did the layout the set up and the rest is history it took us about 1year to get everything set and it took us a few times opening and closing the plans to bridge are gaps.. I built the plans based off the struggles I hear daily from women and teens I also built the plans off how the American community look at hair and how we was brought up not really being fully educated on what I hear need it to just be healthy.
I 12 my plans had to be Digital because the plans he had for me was to become the life change in Hair Stylist beyond the chair. We’ve changed over 1000 members lives in all different cities and states with our digital hair care plans. We cover the emotional part of reaching your hair goals the education the support and accountability.
We also built a hair full growth oil to go along with your healthy hair routine to help with rapid hair growth.
My passion for healthy hair is bigger than me. I’m so proud of myself for this accomplishment

Ronnita , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

I started doing hair at the age of 13 I simply started because my mom would not pay for me to go to the beauty salon so I started practicing or myself first and next I started doing the neighborhood hair then I started actually making money from doing hair. I moved away to California and became at Braider for 2 1/2 years at the age of 25 I graduated beauty school started working right away. One year later I opened up my beauty salon Studio Lux in Cleveland Ohio and Gave other women opportunity to grow their brand.. fast forward now I live in Houston Texas and I have StudioLuxSalonSuites. I went from being a full-time hairstylist to a part-time multi six-figure hairstylist in the six years I’ve been in Houston Texas.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?

Moving to Houston Texas no one new me I had zero clients so so Bill my reputation I posted in Facebook groups 3 to 4 times a day is Instagram 3 to 4 times a day I created my own hashtag, I created loyalty programs $25 silk press, referral programs and stayed consistent for a full year After one year I never had to do a sale again because of all the hard work

I used to feel like because I can do it all I need to do it all I never wanted to invest in any help I later learn you need a team to be great even if you can do it all you shouldn’t we are in business for time freedom. Put the right people in place that specialize in the areas you need in your business. We Can not do it all.
