We were lucky to catch up with Ashley Kulbeck recently and have shared our conversation below.
Ashley, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Is there a heartwarming story from your career that you look back on?
My name is Ashley Kulbeck. I am a health and wellness creator on Instagram and TikTok with an active engaging audience. I love creating content, making recipes, and love to display my passion for health, fitness, and wellness.
The goal of my platform is to inspire and motivate others as well as make a positive impact. I encourage others to heal their relationship with food and fitness. Balance is the key to a healthy lifestyle.
I struggle daily with Celiac Disease, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, and Gastroparesis. Grow through what you go through. Knowledge is power!

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I help others questions regarding managing auto immune diseases. I encourage others to heal their relationship with food and fitness. I preach that balance is the key! The goal of my platform is to inspire and motivate others!
Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
I’ve been in pain for YEARS now. When people look at me all they think is “anorexia.” I was sick and tired of all the rude comments and people assuming the wrong things. I DO NOT have an eating disorder! It physically put me in PAIN to eat and my pain had only gotten worse. It was so hard for me to even get through the day at that point. Yes, I do have celiac disease and IBS, but doctors didn’t truly listen to me. I knew something else was wrong. After being rushed to the emergency room and admitted to the hospital various times, the doctors discovered the main vein/ artery in my stomach is being smushed and causing severe blockage. I had surgery for superior mesenteric artery syndrome. I’ve been through a lot, and discovered a lot. Listen to your body. There will come a day when you will heal!

Training and knowledge matter of course, but beyond that what do you think matters most in terms of succeeding in your field?
It is important to understand that every body is different. It is not a “one diet works for all” type of thing. Everyone is unique in their own way. There are so many ways to heal your relationship with food and fitness.
