We were lucky to catch up with Wallace Tucker recently and have shared our conversation below.
Wallace , appreciate you joining us today. Alright – so having the idea is one thing, but going from idea to execution is where countless people drop the ball. Can you talk to us about your journey from idea to execution?
I developed PencilMover as your go-to destination for all things creative. Whether you’re in need of a portrait of a loved one or a design for an upcoming event, I’m the one to reach out to. Initially, my primary objective was to spread the word about PencilMover, with the belief that my artwork would speak for itself.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
My name is Wallace M Tucker II Artist, Actors, Photographer, Graphic Designer. I’ve always been intensely curious about the creative process and the extent of my talent. No restrictions, no succumbing to negativity—I’ve sold photos to Scholastic schools, had my work featured by Comedy Central, appeared on billboards and in commercials, and been part of films like Netflix’s “Family Blood” and Amazon’s “The Wager.” For every accomplishment, I’ve faced three times as many denials, but I persist, and opportunities emerge. Graphic design is my true passion; molding ideas into brands exhilarates me. Social media, especially Twitter and TikTok with a combined following of over 115,000, allows me to share my journey, entertain, and help others discover their drive. We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
When I began photography, I captured everything and shared my photos in a Facebook group. Faced with negative feedback and accusations that it wasn’t my work, I went the extra mile, sending Raw files to prove authorship. Despite discouragement and calls to quit, I persevered, focusing solely on photography, and ended up featured in Photoshop Magazine. The key: never give up, and ignore those who don’t encourage your goals.

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
Building my citywide reputation was anchored in consistently delivering high-quality artwork, photography, and designs. Emphasizing professionalism, my connections with corporate entities like Kroger and Abercrombie elevated my standards and contributed significantly to my professional growth.
