We recently connected with Elizabeth Odom and have shared our conversation below.
Elizabeth , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today We’d love to hear about when you first realized that you wanted to pursue a creative path professionally.
I know I want to pursue music professionally, when singing became my passion as a child

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I’m asking Gbana Reyes in the Bay Area California music was always a part of my life in some kind of way shape or form even as young as three years old singing Whitney Houston in the house or hearing my mom play Sade and of course developing my gifts at church singing in the adult choir, and dreaming of One day living a life of a star.
What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
Honestly, the Impact, the most rewarding thing about my gift or at least sharing my gift is the impact that it has on people who listen.
Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
Learn to be my biggest cheerleader before anyone else will be I truly believe that now more than ever, that I had to cheer for myself before I expect others to.
