We recently connected with Ayah The Light and have shared our conversation below.

Ayah The Light, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Did you always know you wanted to pursue a creative or artistic career? When did you first know?

Music has always been a form of therapy for me. The best way for me to release all of my thoughts and emotions has always been by writing. Music has always been my safe place where there’s no judgement but a space to express every part of my being. Art is the language of the soul and I feel the most connected to God when I create music. Sometimes it feels like God/My Higher Self speaks to me through my music. It was one of the biggest outlets Ive had ever since a child. I have always been naturally connected to music. From being in the choir and the band in school all the way to performing at talent shows in high school.

Ayah The Light, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

I am a healer artist, entrepreneur and everything else that I am called to be. I use all of my talents to inspire others to become the best version of themselves while doing the same. I am a heavy believer in leaving a mark on the world so those behind us will have guidance. I use my music to heal myself while helping others to heal on their journey as well. I got into music at a very young age by playing different instruments and being in the choir at school, as I got older I joined different talent groups that helped me find my way to becoming a songwriter and recording artist. Going through the adversities in life lead me to become an energy healing and a sound healer. Today I have integrated all the different parts of me and refer to myself as a Healing Music Artist.

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?

As I continue to evolve and advance in my consciousness, I realize how much healing that I had to do myself. I believe releasing our traumas brings us closer to our truest self allowing us to fulfill our true life purpose. I know what its like to get so lost in your circumstances that you feel like you have no way out. That is the reason why I pursue music and spiritual healing. When we can fully release what’s not serving us we can make space for what does and I wish that everyone can experience that state of bliss.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?

Seeing others heal and transform just from hearing my music or using my services truly brings me joy. It gives me purpose that I am making a shift in the world and that to me is worth more than anything.
