Jade, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. What do you think it takes to be successful?

Before I get into what it takes to be successful, let’s define what it actually is. Success is a personal journey, a reflection of your unique aspirations and desires. It’s not a one-size-fits-all concept but something that you must define for yourself. What does success look like to you? Equally important, how does it feel in your heart?

It doesn’t solely have to be about material wealth or a thriving business. It can transcend these external markers. In my opinion it’s also about achieving a state where you feel genuinely fulfilled and empowered, unburdened by constant overwhelm or fear of failure. Success is living in a state of love, generosity, authenticity, and serenity. It’s about having healthy, loving relationships, including the one with yourself. How many people do you know who are high-achevers, but are unhappy, overwhelmed, their relationships are suffering, or they lose their own sense of self? Is that true success? You decide,

Your vision of success might involve using your unique gifts to serve others, finding inner peace, recognizing your connection to the Divine, and practicing self-love. For me, it doesn’t get much better than when I feel fully supported, authentic, joyous, and utterly content, while making a positive impact. Don’t let others define success for you; it’s your personal journey.

Now, let’s get into the ‘how’ based on my lens and personal experiences. Building on the wisdom from “Think and Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill, success often hinges on faith and determination. With these two things, anything can be accomplished. It’s about mindset and believing not only in the seen but also the unseen. Embrace the understanding that you’re an extension of Source energy, and no dream is too immense. If it’s been put on your heart, it’s a calling from the Universe, and a version of you has already achieved it.

Faith is the foundation of success, signifying belief in yourself, the Universe, and your capabilities. It’s aligning your energy with the vibrations of your desires. There are numerous tools at your disposal, my favourites include colour therapy, meditation, Reiki, sound healing, and intention. Intention plays a pivotal role. Every colour carries unique vibrations that can unlock subconscious blocks, enhance intuition, promote healing, and improve your relationships including your relationship to yourself, Spirit, your family, team, friends, and nature. For example, I used to wear a lot of black because I thought it was professional during my 15 years as a manicurist and permanent makeup artist. However, looking back, it was more of a reflection of how I felt inside. I was depressed, anxious, pessimistic and just wanted to hide. Now, when I wear black mindfully, it’s for grounding or when I want to express elegance.

Much the same, Reiki, which is life force energy and in all living things, can be extremely powerful when used with intention. I have clients from all over the world come to me to help balance, cleanse, and align their chakras, bringing them back into alignment with their soul and purpose. Your chakras are your energy centers that regulate your physical body, thoughts, emotions, and point of attraction. Personally I have used it for healing physical conditions such as my vision and chronic pain, among many other things. As someone with what I refer to as a ‘squirrel brain’ I use it for focus, peace, and sleep. There’s no limit to what it can be used for, including attracting ideal clients, clarity, balance, attracting love, cutting energetic cords, karmic healing, etc.. Sound healing, another potent tool, works harmoniously to restore and energize. These practices can be a deep well of transformation and empowerment, especially for empaths! I could literally talk about this all day, but I’ll move on.

Determination stands as the cornerstone of your journey to success. Along this path, you’ll encounter seasons when things don’t unfold as planned, and the need to pivot becomes evident. You’ll hear ‘no’ echoing in your ears, but it’s your unwavering determination that propels you forward. It’s about clinging to your vision and skillfully riding the waves that come your way. Having a robust support system in place is vital; it guides you through uncharted territories, fuels your expansion, and fosters a sense of safety. Determination is the dividing line that separates those who achieve success from those who come close.

For me, determination has been an unyielding force. I’ve weathered storms that might resemble hell on earth—abuse, mental health struggles, and chronic ailments. Yet, it’s precisely these trials that have shaped the person I am today, and it’s been determination that has led me through the darkest of times. These hardships are akin to the intense heat gold endures in the refining process, where impurities rise to the surface to be scraped off. Similarly, we face a choice: to allow life’s fires to consume us or to embrace them as instruments of refinement, making us more pure. Determination, that fiery spark in your soul, represents a conscious choice to persevere and to claim the success you deserve.

So, what does success mean to you, and how will you achieve it? These answers lie deep within your heart. Recognize that everything you need for your journey is already nestled within you, waiting to be unfurled. You are deserving of the success you aspire to achieve and you can have it all.

Hi, I’m Jade Olszewski– I’m a neurodivergent Mompreneur, and an Alberta-based Intuitive Artist, Reiki Master, Energy Healer, Transformation Coach, medium, starseed, and creator of Jade Breanne Collective. I should also mention that I don’t particularly like labels because each person will view those labels based on their lens and their experiences, and I don’t want to be confined by a box. After my second divorce, surviving decades of abuse, anorexia, and horrific health problems, including losing the use of my dominant arm, I returned to Canada from the US and began my healing journey. Little did I know that in less than 2.5 years my health would be fully restored, I’d be creating energetic infused art, teaching magical mindset, guiding others on their unique healing journey, and helping raise the collective consciousness. My business started by ‘accident’ and was a beautiful unfolding simply by following the joy and allowing. I sold more than 26 original paintings and custom art to 7+ figure earners within 12 months of starting my business, and have now served clients and collectors in 6 countries. It all begins with colours that speak to my heart and bring me joy. But before I even pick up a brush, there’s a special ritual. I start with gratitude, grounding myself in the energy of Source and going into a meditative state. Throughout the entire process, a song plays on repeat. This song is either one that’s been placed on my heart or one that I’ve been intuitively guided to use. It serves as a backdrop to my creative dance with the energies, deepening my meditation and helping my intuition flow freely. The song is written on the back of each canvas. Inside my studio, healing frequencies fill the air 24/7, infusing each piece with love, gratitude, health, and abundance. As I paint, something beautiful unfolds—not just colours and shapes, but a message, a title, all channeled from a higher place.

With my newer pieces, I’ve added another layer to this process. While the message takes form, I also incorporate the soothing vibrations of specific sound bowls, chosen to match the message and the chakras it touches. It’s like adding an extra layer of intention and healing, merging art with energy work.

Once a painting is finished, it’s not the end of the journey. Collectors have the opportunity to infuse their piece with a specific intention for healing. It’s a personalized touch, often chosen by entrepreneurs seeking focus, clarity, and balance. These artworks find their place in offices, becoming a manifestation tool, source of inspiration and elevation.

I take immense pride in the lives I’ve touched and the transformations I’ve witnessed. We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.

My journey is one marked by resilience, a testament to the human spirit’s capacity to rise, phoenix-like, from the ashes of adversity. There was a time in my life when the weight of the world was on my shoulders. I was drowning with suicidal thoughts whispering relentlessly in the recesses of my mind, a dark cloud that threatened to snuff out any remaining glimmers of hope. I was trapped in a toxic environment, suffering for years.

But it wasn’t just emotional turmoil; my body too had become poisoned with my thoughts, manifesting as disease. Chronic migraines dominated my life, sometimes lasting up to 27 agonizing days each month. I struggled with relentless muscle pain, and a weakened immune system. And then, after a routine blood draw, I developed CRPS (Complex Regional Pain Syndrome) in my dominant arm, a cruel affliction that sentenced me to excruciating pain, 24/7 in addition to everything else. The prognosis was bleak; no certainty of recovery, only the grim prospect that it would likely worsen with time, potentially spreading its torment to my other limbs.

I lost my independence. I lost the simple joys of carrying my young son who was only four at the time. I donated all of my art supplies accepting that I would never paint again. Even though I hadn’t been creating art anyways because I was either too tired, depressed, or broke, this was detrimental. Being on disability wasn’t an option because I had been self-employed since age 19. There was so much mourning and loss. This was my rock bottom (and it wasn’t the first time).

The world outside mirrored my inner turmoil. It was during the pandemic and these darkest moments, that I turned inward. I discovered gratitude, a lifeline that anchored me to hope. I began writing gratitude lists, visualizing, seeing a different reality, a future beyond the pain that had consumed me.

Out of this despair, faith blossomed. I’ll always remember the moment I actually felt God. I was listening to the song ‘Oceans’ by Hillsong UNITED when I experienced the first of what I call an ‘awakening’, faith in the seen and unseen, a profound belief that I was an extension of a greater Source. In those moments, I knew that no dream was too grand, no vision too audacious. If it had been placed upon my heart, it was because the universe desired it to be manifested through me.

It was shortly after that I faced a defining moment when I decided to leave my marriage. I left everything I knew and loved. I had no clear path ahead, no certainty of where I would go or what I would do, but I knew one thing with unwavering certainty – repeating these patterns was insanity and no longer an option. So, I got the courage to step into the unknown and to risk it all, not even for my sake, but more for the sake of my son and his future.

My path was not without challenges, but each hurdle was a stepping stone, not a roadblock. I realized that on the other side of fear, the universe often has the greatest blessings awaiting. I discovered my inner resilience, the unshakeable determination to not just survive but thrive.

Today, I stand as a testament to the transformative power of the human spirit. My journey, marked by the darkest of moments, is a testament to the fact that even in our most dire circumstances, we possess the inner strength to rise, reborn, and embrace a life filled with purpose, creativity, and fulfillment. No situation is ever hopeless, and failure is just redirection.

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?

As a starseed, my journey is all about genuine connections and heartfelt intentions. It’s not just about what I create; it’s about the purpose behind it. Every human interaction, every stroke, every colour, every moment of energy healing is driven by a desire to uplift others, ignite their inner spark, and foster true connections. In fact, my word of the year for 2023 is ‘connection’. I’ve learned that success isn’t just about what you offer; it’s about genuinely offering a piece of your heart and soul. Though I may not be everyone’s cup of tea, I’m finally at a place where I’m ok with that. It’s not always common to encounter someone who has as much love as I have to offer, but that’s what makes it even more important to be myself and a light in this world.
