We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Vanessa Jeune a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Vanessa, appreciate you joining us today. Any thoughts about whether to ask friends and family to support your business. What’s okay in your view?

Hi, my name is Vanessa and i am a upcoming singer and photographer. I appreciate all the support and love that everyone shows me already but it would be great if everyone continues to repost and share my music/photos so i may become more out there. My music page on Instagram which i have just started is @lyricallyenchanted and my photography page is @_theperfectcapture. Thank you in advance

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers

Well i got into singing at a very young age and have been singing ever since. However, i haven’t really tapped into my voice as i should been before. It’s no that i’m rotting to go far with my voice and sing more often and actually putting out music. Recently, me and a partner of mine released a song called Pills N’ Potions and that was my first ever since i’ve put out. I’m proud of where i came from with that song because i put my everything into it and now behind the scenes im just making more music and i am just very proud.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?

I actually had a lot of support in high school which was William H. Turner Technical Arts High School. I had a great relationship with one of the administrators which helped me come out more with my voice and he is mainly the reason why i’m singing today. I shouldn’t be hiding my voice i should expressing it.

We’d love to hear about you met your business partner.

Well i met him on Instagram and he has heard me sing on my music page that i have recently started. One day he asked to let up and he had some amazing music already that he wanted me to feature on and so far we have amazing varieties of music that will be coming out very soon. He is another reason as to why i’m singing today. If he had not reached out to feature on Pills N’ Potions it is more than likely that my voice still would have been hidden.
