My entrepreneurship journey is a story of building authority, profitability, and legacy as a woman of color navigating the nuances of a male-dominated industry. My experiences exposed the distinct contrast between prevalent leadership styles and the underpaid qualities of empathy, emotional intelligence, and collaboration. In a rapidly evolving business world, traditional, rigid leadership models were becoming increasingly obsolete. And the realization that ‘feminine’ qualities were not just valuable but essential for business success became the logic behind starting Linette Montae International in 2010. However, after decades of observing a recurring pattern where female leaders struggled to find and amplify their authentic voices, my vision was not just to create another consultancy but to spark a movement to shed the traditional “shoulds” and redefine feminine success as happy, healthy and wealthy.
By 2016, my original vision took on a new dimension with the establishment of a Public Relations & Profitable Authority Branding firm. Integral to Profitable Empires, Inc is our signature program, “Scale Your Next Millions Blueprint,” bespoke to guide high-revenue female entrepreneurs, experts, and executives to higher levels of influence, impact, and income.
