We were lucky to catch up with Kiara Streater recently and have shared our conversation below.
Kiara, appreciate you joining us today. Do you have a hero? What have you learned from them?
One of my heroes is my mother in law “Brenda Joyce Streater” she is my role model and biggest influencer in my personal and professional life. She has instilled two values in me perseverance and work ethic., She taught me to dream big, work hard, and always be grateful. She’s played a huge role in my success and is my inspiration for everything. My mother in law is such a wonderful and special person. She is kind and compassionate. She is patient and understanding. She is beautiful in every way! My angel, not only to me and her children but she provides compassionate and support to those in need every day, through her work as a educator and business owner . She never acts in anger or out of malice. She is forgiving and gentle and she always has time for others. I love her and I am inspired by her. I want to live my life like she does..Success is the result of our heroes who have greatly impacted our lives, and she was one of the first people to believe in me and I am forever grateful to God for giving me the gift of being her daughter.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

She was able to empower and employ all of her family, paying six figure salaries, she covered over 100 funerals in 2021, and what started as a dream, has grown into a global empire.

Have you ever had to pivot?
During the pandemic was a challenging time for Kiara, she lost her brother to murder, and experienced severe grief PTSD, although she wanted to give up, it was her love and dedication to helping and serving people and the community that pushed her to fight, be tenacious, and have undeniable faith. She pushed harder than she could have ever imagined and that year of pain and sorrow, turned into her most profitable year.

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
Most of her life she had to overcome many personal adversities, homelessness, losing those close to her, abuse, being a survivor of a gun shot injury, but her tenacity and determination to win in life was her driving force. She made a promise to herself at a very young age, that no matter what happens around me, no matter who doubts me, I will have faith, work hard, and accomplish my dreams.
