Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Nyla Simpson. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Nyla, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today What do you think it takes to be successful?
To be successful you have to believe in yourself , promote your business in different ways, such as marketing, face-to-face sales and word of mouth. Also, another way to become successful in your business is catering to what the audience may like.

Nyla, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
Growing up I used to do my friends and family’s hair. I’ve always had an inkling for beauty & styling. One day I just decided to take a big step, so In 2018 i made the decision to start a business page which kick started my career in hair and ultimately put me where I am today. If I could go back and do it all over again, I would do things A little bit differently with all the things that I now know. My passion for hair consistently grows day-to-day, trying new things and booking new clients.
Problems within this industry is some consumers cannot differentiate between quantity and quality, which essentially makes it harder for smaller business owners like me.
Things that I would love for potential clients to know is that if you are a new or expecting mother, you can come to my suite with your child or I can travel to you, kids were never a problem. It will never be a problem, you can always feel completely comfortable in bringing your plus one with you.
One thing that sets me apart from other stylist and business owners would be my personality. I’m not just your stylist. I’m also your therapist, your friend and your confidant. I come with great energy and a will to make you feel & look the best that you can be after your appointment. I really do take pride in my business and value my clients as people not just a bank. it’s more than just money. This is my career. I have A bright future ahead of myself and I only want to go further.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
The way that I built my following on social media is to keep pushing to get your name out, promote on all platforms and never give up. You have to make promoting a habit even if one person sees it or two people see it or even if no one sees it. somebody’s always going to notice you.

What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
The most effective strategy in building my clientele would be my quality and my work ethic. It makes my clients want to return because they know that whatever they book, it will be executed exactly as that I do not cut corners so we will ensure that you get your desired look.
