Dantes

In June of 2018, Dantes signed with Sony Music Entertainment. Under Sony, Dantes released his debut EP “meristem.” The extended play was spearheaded by the single “GREENHOUSE,” produced by multi-Grammy award winner !llmind. The papercraft animated music video for “GREENHOUSE” was created by Stefano Bertelli, the award-winning director behind Frank Sinatra’s “Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Melody Warnick

For the months (fine, years) that I was working on my proposal for my nonfiction book This Is Where You Belong: Finding Home Wherever You Are, I obsessively thought about agents. I knew I wanted a traditional publisher if I could manage it, and I knew that agents were the magic door to that world—and that’s about all I knew. I signed with my first agent a month after I graduated college. I was introduced to the agency by a classmate of mine who was already signed with them and was traveling to Wilmington on the weekends to film small projects here and there.
