Nicole , appreciate you joining us today. Let’s jump to the end – what do you want to be remembered for?

The legacy that champion cleaning service will leave being compassionate to our employees showing that we care building up their self-esteem, in a way that they’re unaware of giving them hope for the future that they can’t start a business of any kind, any sort, but mainly believing in the Lord Jesus Christ to guide them in their every day decisions. The long-term goal will be to convert to a franchise where it would be a one stop commercial cleaning business carpet, window, stripping/waxing janitorial company to help support minority owned businesses

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

OK what got me into this industry of commercial cleaning I did work for a fortune 500 telecommunication company they decided to close our center here in Western Michigan and I’ve always been passionate about cleaning and that something that was embedded in my spirit so I started champion cleaning service. when it comes down to being disciplined, you really have to stay focus and know your why of the reason you’re starting a business. A lot of times we start businesses without really studying the business to see how we can be. Profitable down the line. Also, they will come times when you’re wanting to participate in friends or family events and you’re not you’re unable to go because you’re committed to this business which needs you have to be disciplined in those areas . I’m currently working on a chemical that will be able to be used in your home for a multipurpose cleaner with a Great smell to get tennis shoes clean as well as use it on your your countertops in your sink seeing your tables in your residence or commercial space. What would my client say about me that I’m very caring I’m always reaching out to see if of ways to improve the business or the service that they are receiving and we will go the extra mile to make sure we’re giving great customer service in the residence and commercial locations cost so we have a quick response time. What I’m most proud about is that I haven’t give up. I’ve been discouraged many of times. I’m most proud of that. I plan to have this as a franchise where I will be able to leave this onto my children and grandchildren what I’m most proud about that I never gave up, and you always have to believe in yourself, and I wouldn’t be able to do this business if I wasn’t rooted in the word of God .

Do you have any stories of times when you almost missed payroll or any other near death experiences for your business?

I can still attest to this right some of my clients who may not pay their invoices on time I have experience where I was 60 days of not getting an invoice paid, but I still had to push forward in the business and down the next day a client deposit came in and it was like the deadline of payroll that was very stressful and I overcame it because a client pay their bills so that would be it .

Yes, I’m living in this moment now may be a highly recommend you getting a counselor and I highly recommend you getting a lawyer, a bookkeeper when starting off as a local business owner I don’t like the size small because that stinking small so I was saying as a business owner make sure you have enough capital when you start do a crowdfunding for whatever business you see fit to make sure you have a little bit of maybe 20 to 30,000 of Capital in the bank just in case Your clients don’t pay their invoices on time you you don’t want to borrow from these third-party companies where they’re just charging making up their own interest they are saying hey, we will do a line of credit and really is not a line of credit. these are the companies you want to stay away from because if you renege and don’t pay them, they will sue you And his dependent know how your business is establish as far as being a DBA doing business under/LLC this is something that I have lived so I’m giving you information from my personal experience .
