Because my mother and grandmother worked in the school system, most of my summers were spent in the school library reading books. I found the most freedom during this time. The stories and experiences expanded the boundaries of my imagination, engaging me in a way that removed me from any physical limitations and transported me into the story itself. This experience and the desire to share everything I learned with anyone who would listen were instrumental in moving me toward training and education.

Before founding Atkins Learn & Grow in 2016, I always found myself in schools, training and educating others. I would volunteer with organizations like the Junior Achievement program to teach students about business concepts and the YMCA to tutor students after school. After earning my bachelor’s in Business Administration and struggling to find career opportunities, I shifted direction, earning a Master’s in Adult Training and Education. Now, with over ten years of experience in the field, I have partnered with private, public, and non-profit sector organizations to drive sustainable growth and improve performance by implementing innovative organizational training and development strategies.

Atkins Learn and Grow collaborates with industry experts and businesses that want to earn passive income through virtual training and resource offerings. Communication, quality, and results. As my market is very niche, many clients are unsure what to expect from the partnership. I work very closely with them to identify what the need is and develop a plan so that they understand the process and the outcome. I respect the expertise each of my clients brings to the table and ensure they know how integral they are to achieving our shared goal.

What’s been the best source of new clients for you?

My professional relationships have opened doors and been vital to sharing my expertise and increasing my network in the field. My business is 90% referrals because of the quality of my work. This has helped me attract and retain 100% of clients who decide to partner with me.
