We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Passion The Lioness . We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Passion below.
Passion , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. We’d love to hear about a project that you’ve worked on that’s meant a lot to you.
The most meaningful project that I did this year was with my sis Paige Y. Williams. In memory of her cousin Alvita St. Jules Oliver. We had a event called Pretty In Pink Picnic: Breast Cancer Awareness. We had 17 ladies that attended. Paige did the beautiful decorations in her backyard for the event. Paige also provied the food, treats, drinks and wine. Passion The Lioness performed poetry.
I’m working on a Sistas themed photo shoot in the beginning of December. I’m all about Women Empowerment. When you look good, you feel good. We will also incorporate our brands in this shoot. It’s 5 women including myself.

Passion , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I am Danielle Hall. I go by Passion The Lioness. I’m a Poet, Model, Author and Actress. I’m very passionate about what I do. I love inspiring people especially young women.
I started writing because for a while I was lost in life. I wasn’t confident about myself. I began to lose hope. I felt like I didn’t belong in this world. Writing gave me confidence. Not only am I helping myself but it lead me to help others like me. I started modeling when the words became too much. I was tired of writing the same sad stuff. Modeling also gave me confidence. It makes me feel beautiful. It makes me feel like I am good enough. Acting is definitely a different kind of boost. I love the power to transform into the character. It’s a special kind of energy. I love everything that I do. It challenges me to be greater.
GOD has been my strength through it all.
My goal is to be known world wide. To not only be a pretty face but to make a difference. I feel that if one wins we all win. I want to be that encouragement for the little girls who believe they aren’t good enough.
I am dedicated and determined to make my dreams come true. I will continue to make my mark in this industry.

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
I suffer from Hidradenitis Suppurativa. I have had 5 major surgeries. I’m having another major surgery December 7th, 2023. I will have to be in a facility to recover anywhere from 6 to 8 weeks or longer. This illness is very painful. It definitely takes a toll on your mental and physical health. There’s no cure for Hidradenitis Suppurativa. You can only manage it. Even if you have surgery it can always come back in a different area. GOD has been my strength through this whole process. My Mother Dana Watters is my biggest comfort and support.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
Building definitely takes time. Networking is the biggest key for Me. Being consistent also helps a lot. I remember starting out I would get disappointed because I didn’t get much interaction on social media. Now I look at it rising and the growth is amazing. Keep pushing forward. Find what works for you.
