Ryo, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Alright, so you had your idea and then what happened? Can you walk us through the story of how you went from just an idea to executing on the idea
To transition from the idea of Kaifuku Media to successful execution, begin with a robust business plan outlining target audience, unique offerings, and marketing strategies. I sat at my desk hours thinking about a business plan and how I should market this business. It was very slow at first. I had ZERO clients the first 2 months, but I finally landed my first paying client after 2 months. I finally “ caught on to the algorithm. Posting on social media play form and staying consistent with it was the key to new clients.

Kaifuku Media has its roots in my passion for photography, which ignited in the eighth grade when I was captivated by a friend’s camera. Determined to pursue this newfound interest, I invested in my own camera and spent three years honing my skills through experimentation.
As my proficiency grew, so did the idea of transforming this passion into a business venture. In the transition from hobbyist to entrepreneur, I embarked on a journey to monetize my photography skills. The decision to turn my passion into a business was not only a testament to my dedication but also a recognition of the value I could offer.
Over the course of those three years, I refined my craft, diversified my photography styles, and began offering services to friends and acquaintances. The positive response encouraged me to take a leap of faith and establish Kaifuku Media. This marked the official inception of a venture that seamlessly blended my love for photography with the ambition to create a sustainable business.
Starting in the eighth grade and progressing through the subsequent years, this entrepreneurial journey has been shaped by the challenges of learning the art and science of photography, understanding client needs, and navigating the intricacies of entrepreneurship. Today, Kaifuku Media stands as a testament to the transformative power of passion and persistence, evolving from a personal interest to a thriving business.
How do you keep in touch with clients and foster brand loyalty?
Key point is to have your own niche and do a shoot that your client will always remember you for. Whether it’s the type of editing or the angles or the equipment, having a unique skill helps.
How’d you meet your business partner?
My business partners and I met in elementary school and middle school. We all had a sense of entrepreneurialism and the desire to thrive and grind under pressure
